Deep learning aims to guide students to change their learning mode from superficial to immersive,and achieves high-level thinking.In discipline teaching,deep learning is an important choice to achieve efficient classroom,also embodies the teaching goal of literacy-based,while thematic teaching is an important means to achieve deep learning.Therefore,this paper integrates the concepts of deep learning and thematic teaching from the perspective of teaching design to promote students’ deep learning,and provides a new way to promote the development of chemistry teaching mode in senior high school.The paper is carried out in the following parts:The first part describes the research background and significance of the research,combs the domestic and foreign research review,which found that thematic teaching can promote students deep learning effectively.However,the current research on thematic teaching based on the concept of deep learning is less from chemistry teaching in high school.Therefore,the research is of great significance under the background of "double reduction".The second part defines the concepts of deep learning,thematic teaching and thematic teaching based on the concept of deep learning,and introduces the educational theories related to the research as the support to guide the teaching practice.The third part,on the one hand,according to the characteristics of deep learning,the high-level cognitive goals in Bloom’s taxonomy of education objective and the high-level thinking in Biggs’ s SOLO taxonomy,deep learning is divided into six dimensions: attitude and motivation,essence and variation,association and construction,transfer and application,speculation and demonstration,value and evaluation.By investigating the current situation of deep learning in senior high school with questionnaires,it is found that students are weak in transfer and application,speculation and demonstration.On the other hand,by interviewing with teachers to understand the teaching status quo,it is found that some teachers lack understanding of the concept of deep learning and research on new teaching modes.Finally,teaching enlightenment and countermeasures are obtained in the investigation.The fourth part,based on the learning situation and teaching status quo,introduces the design concept and principle of thematic teaching according to the deep learning theory,and standardizes the teaching design and implementation.The analysis of teaching design includes four elements: theme selection,teaching objectives,teaching activities and evaluation.The design of student activities includes four processes of deep learning:awareness,analysis to synthesis,application and assimilation.Finally,a thematic teaching mode based on deep learning is formed,in which the direction of teaching activities is led by theme,the open learning environment is created with real background,the deep learning activities guided by "problem progression",and the two-way reflection of teachers and students is promoted by multiple evaluation.The fifth part,based on the new teaching practice model of the paper,the "Chlorine and its Compounds" was carried out overall teaching design,and then carried out in the experimental class.The conventional teaching was carried out to compared with the control class.Through tests,it is found that students in the experimental class have better performance in deep learning,and good teaching results are obtained.The research promotes students’ deep learning in teaching effectively and strengthen teachers’ awareness of implementing new teaching concept.Therefore,the research has a good theoretical and practical significance for high school chemistry teaching.
