| Arm standing is an important component of the six sets of diving movements,with the characteristics of high difficulty and easy error.It is a mandatory jump in men’s events and an optional jump in women’s events.Using the methods of literature review,expert interview,video analysis and mathematical statistics,this study conducted a research on the current situation and development trend of the arm standing movements of Chinese and foreign elite divers in the three major diving competitions from 2013 to 2022.The purpose of this study is to summarize the development law of arm standing movements,and to provide reference for the improvement of the competitive level and special achievements of arm standing movements in China’s diving events.Research results: Both Chinese and foreign male divers focus on the 6245 D and 626 B arm standing movements.Chinese male divers value the quality of arm standing movements and have an advantage in scoring.Foreign male divers often choose to jump the 6245 D arm standing movements with a high difficulty coefficient.Chinese and foreign female divers mainly perform arm standing movements of 6243 D and 626 C.The quality of the 626 C arm standing action scores of Chinese female divers has rapidly improved.Foreign female divers mainly focus on improving the completion quality of the 6243 D arm stand movement,but the competition scores of the arm stand movement have been decreasing year by year.Research conclusion: The arm standing movements of Chinese male divers are showing a steady development trend,while the arm standing movements of foreign male divers are showing an increasing difficulty trend.The arm standing movements of Chinese female divers have shown a trend of high difficulty and quality,while the arm standing movements of foreign female divers have shown a steady downward trend.The gap between the arm standing movements of Chinese and foreign female divers is further expanding. |
