| The development of high quality physical education in schools plays a significant role in the development of students’ physical health,the formation of lifelong sports concepts,and the delivery of reserve talents for competitive sports.The introduction of the "double reduction" policy has,to a certain extent,reduced the academic burden of students and enhanced their physical health.At the same time,in order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instruction of "strengthening youth sports" in the report of the 20 th Party Congress.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the situation of secondary school physical education in the context of the "double reduction" policy,to summarize the new problems after the policy and to propose corresponding countermeasures.In this paper,40 physical education teachers,400 students and 200 parents from 8 secondary schools in Rizhao City,Shandong Province were studied by questionnaires and fieldwork methods at five levels: school,teachers,parents,students and society:(1)The school site equipment is not up to standard,lack of leadership attention and funding.(2)Insufficient school teachers,teachers’ workload increased to combat the work motivation.(3)Poor promotion of the "double reduction" policy and lack of implementation of the "double reduction" policy(4)Low awareness of sports among students and lack of interest in sports(5)Parents’ traditional education ideology is deeply rooted,and the phenomenon of "inward roll" increases the economic pressure on families.(6)Unreasonable allocation of social sports resources.(7)The existence of cultural training institutions "fish in the net",arts and sports training institutions appear "hanging sheep’s head,selling dog meat" problem.In response to the above new problems,the following countermeasures are proposed:(1)Increase financial investment and strengthen school leaders’ attention to physical education.(2)Optimize the teaching staff and improve the salary of physical education teachers.(3)Increase policy promotion and improve institutional mechanisms(4)Focusing on the development of students’ awareness of physical education and implementing the "student-centred" teaching philosophy.(5)Increase the publicity of physical education to enhance the importance of physical education to parents.(6)Rationalize the allocation of social sports resources and increase the control of public sports facilities.(7)Strengthen the supervision of cultural tutoring institutions and increase the punishment... |
