The State Council issued in 2020 in the document "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Physical Education in the New Era" clearly stated that the compulsory education stage should help students establish a correct concept of physical health and help students master1 to 2 sports skills.The 2021 < Physical Education & Health >Guiding Outline for Teaching Reform(Trial)puts forward the curriculum goal of "enjoying fun,enhancing physical fitness,and improving personality",with the aim of promoting the development of core competencies such as sports ability,healthy behavior and sports morality of primary and secondary school students.In order to further understand the current status of students’ health behavior,scientifically and effectively strengthen the construction of junior high school physical education and health curriculum,implement the "Compulsory Education Physical and Health Curriculum Standards(2022)",and cultivate students’ healthy behavior,so the purpose of this study is to study the current status of junior high school students’ health behavior.In this study,1400 junior high school students from 8 schools in Y District,H city were selected as the survey subjects,and SPSS and EXCEL were mainly used for statistical analysis,and the survey results were assigned to the value,and the current situation of health behavior of junior high school students under the background of core literacy of physical education was explored,and the following conclusions were finally drawn:1.The health behavior of junior high school students mainly includes five dimensions of physical behavior habits,physical exercise awareness,mastery and application of health knowledge and skills,emotional regulation and environmental adaptation.Among the five dimensions of health behavior,physical exercise awareness(3.79±0.82)> environmental adaptation(3.66±0.69)> emotional regulation(3.63±0.86)> mastery and application of health knowledge(3.62±0.65)> healthy behavior habits(3.38±0.87);the overall health behavior of junior high school students was in the middle and upper class.2.There are disparities in health behaviors among junior high school students of different genders.Boys outperformed girls(3.76 ± 0.61)in health behavior(3.62±0.57).3.There are also differences in health behaviors among junior high school students in different grades,with overall grade 7 health behaviors(3.73±0.57)> grade 8 health behaviors(3.69±0.60)> grade 9 health behaviors(3.66±0.62).Recommendations: Arouse students’ interest in sports;Enhance students’ sports execution skills.Cultivate students’ correct value orientation of physical exercise;Open up ways for students to exercise independently.integration of physical and health education;the integration of physical education and health knowledge;play the leading role of physical education teachers;creating a positive atmosphere for health education;Multidisciplinary integrated education.regular physical activity;Optimize teacher-student relations;Strengthen mental health counseling.Home-school-community cooperation and joint training.
