Labor education is a significant substance of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics,which plays a vital role in cultivating college students’ sound personality,tempering tenacity and shaping noble character,and directly affecting students’ labor value orientation,labor spirit and labor skill level.Our party has always attached great importance to labor education,combined education with labor,and played an important role in cultivating all-round development of talents for China’s socialist construction.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee has clearly included labor education in its education policy,put forward the general requirement of "cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,aesthetics,and labor",and made comprehensive arrangements.College students in the new era shoulder the historical responsibility of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation.Studying the theory and practice of it is a major topic for colleges and universities to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the new requirements of the Party for labor education in the new era,as well as to cultivate new talents of the era,which has important theoretical and practical significance.In terms of structure,in addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main text of the article is divided into five chapters:Chapter one: Overview of the relevant theories of labor education for college students in the new era.It mainly defines the core concepts of labor,labor education,and labor education for college students,and lays academic support for subsequent research by sorting out the development process of labor education for college students,summarizing the new connotation and characteristics of it,and expounding the necessity of strengthening it.Chapter two: The theoretical basis of labor education for college students in the New Era.Expound the concept of labor in China’s excellent traditional culture and the Marxist concept of labor as the theoretical basis,and provide theoretical guidance for strengthening it.Chapter three: Current situation and attribution analysis of labor education for college students in the new era.By empirical investigation and drawing on the existing achievements of the academic circles,sorted out and summarized the results achieved and main problems of it,and the reasons are analyzed from the four levels of society,colleges and universities,families and students,so as to provide a realistic basis for proposing targeted practice paths.Chapter four: The goals,tasks,and principles of labor education for college students in the new era.This chapter analyzes the goals and specific tasks that college students’ labor education should grasp in the new era,and puts forward the principles that should be followed to promote college students’ labor education to achieve greater practical results.Chapter five: The Practical Path of Strengthening College Students’ labor Education in the New Era.From the aspects of strengthening the supporting role of society,deepening the leading role of colleges and universities,consolidating the basic role of the family,and giving play to the subjective role of college students themselves,this paper puts forward the practical path of strengthening it,in order to enhance the effectiveness.
