| How to implement the cultivation of core literacy of the subject has become a hot topic in the current curriculum reform,and the implementation of core literacy not only requires teachers to reflect on traditional teaching in a timely manner,but also needs to integrate new teaching design elements into teaching.The Understanding by Design mode,or UbD mode,is a teaching design mode that pursues understanding.It was first proposed by American curriculum experts Grant Wiggins and Jay Mc Tighe.It integrates teaching content according to teaching objectives and core concepts,and evaluates The plan precedes the design of teaching activities,so that teaching evaluation runs through the whole teaching process,reflecting the diagnostic role of teaching evaluation,so as to carry out more effective teaching activities and promote students’ in-depth understanding.The result-oriented teaching design makes teaching activities more purposeful and overcomes the shortcomings of traditional teaching.As a new teaching design model that has emerged in recent years,the UbD model has a good effect on cultivating students’ subject core literacy and provides a new research direction for physics teaching in China.Therefore,this article takes the unit "Motion and Force" in the second volume of the eighth grade of the junior high school physics education edition as an example to carry out teaching design based on the UbD model,and is applied to junior high school physics teaching.It uses the student self-assesssment scale,questionnaires,teacher visits and student unit detection results to analyze the The application of physics teaching provides some references.The content of this paper mainly includes the following aspects:First,through reading and combing related literature,to have an in-depth understanding of the concept and connotation of UbD model.Questionnaires were issued to front-line physics teachers in junior middle school as research objects to understand the current application status of instructional design based on UbD mode in junior middle school physics teaching.At the same time,questionnaires were issued to students selected as practice objects to understand their physics learning situation and analyze the feasibility of the application of UbD mode in junior middle school physics teaching.Secondly,combined with the theoretical knowledge of UbD mode and the results of the questionnaire survey,in the self Chapter 8 "Sports and Strength" in the second volume of the eighth grade of Liren Teaching Edition is the research content,and the teaching design is based on the UbD model.Thirdly,the experimental class adopts the teaching design based on UbD mode,and the control class adopts the traditional teaching design.Through the statistics and analysis of the results of the self-rating scale,the questionnaire and the test results at the end of the chapter,the students’ mastery of the knowledge of this chapter and the transformation of the physics situation are understood.The application effect of UbD model in junior middle school physics class is analyzed.And conduct face-to-face interviews with two physics teachers who participated in the practice process to understand their views and suggestions on the application of UbD mode.Finally,combined with the whole process and results of this study,reflect on the shortcomings of this study.Through the difference teaching in the experimental class and the control class,the results of students’ self-rating scale were analyzed,and the questionnaire results of the two classes were compared with students’ physics learning performance.It was found that UbD model can improve students’ interest in learning physics,promote students’ understanding of knowledge,promotes the improvement of students’ physics grades,and contribute to the implementation of the core quality of physics.And through the interview with the teachers involved in the practice,we know that the teaching design based on UbD mode has been recognized by the interviewed teachers. |
