Ancient poetry is a treasure of Chinese culture and a cultural heritage that Chinese people are proud of.Ancient poetry occupies a considerable proportion in middle school Chinese textbooks, and it is also a key and difficult point in middle school teaching.Ancient poetry has a special emotional charm. To convey the emotions in poetry to students,it is necessary to pay attention to guiding and cultivating students’ emotional awareness,in order to help them form a correct outlook on life and values. In view of this, this article draws inspiration from the achievement oriented concept in the field of engineering education, and explores the emotional teaching strategies of ancient poetry from three aspects: student-centered,socially oriented, and continuous improvement,in order to provide certain literature references for the development of ancient poetry teaching. This article is mainly divided into four chapters, with a certain degree of coherence between each chapter. The introduction section focuses on introducing the current research status and methods at home and abroad, laying the groundwork for future research. The first chapter defines the concepts of achievement oriented and emotional teaching, sorts out the fit between achievement oriented and emotional teaching, and deconstructs the emotional elements in ancient poetry in textbooks. In Chapter 2,based on on-site interviews and investigations,it is summarized that the main problems in emotional teaching practice are the neglect of student-centered objects, the lack of social output in terms of effectiveness, and the inability to maintain continuous improvement in content. The third chapter draws on the concept of achievement orientation and proposes targeted teaching strategies from three levels:student-oriented,social output oriented, and continuous improvement oriented, providing strategic reference for the emotional teaching practice of ancient poetry.Chapter 4 takes the three ancient poems Listening to the Flute in Luocheng on a Spring Night,A Song Broken by the Autumn Wind in a thatched cottage, and Jiangchengzi Hunting in Mizhou in junior high school Chinese language textbooks as examples, and provides case studies from three dimensions: student learning effect, social output effect, and dynamic improvement effect, achieving an organic combination of achievement oriented philosophy and poetry teaching practice.
