In 2017,the Chinese Basketball Association launched the small basketball development plan in Beijing and promulgated the Small Basketball Rules.President Yao said that the China Basketball Association will strive to build small basketball through "one leadership,two drives,three pillars and four systems".With the development of China’s economy and society,sports have received unprecedented attention,but at the same time,there is an urgent need to improve the physical health level of students,and the Chinese men’s basketball team is showing serious shortcomings and weakness.To effectively improve such phenomena,developing small basketball is an important way,which carries the heavy responsibility of the development of basketball in China.In addition,the Sinan County Junior Basketball Team has repeatedly won the championship in the Guizhou Division Finals of the Junior Basketball League.Based on the above,it is worth exploring the small basketball game in Sinan County,Tongren City.This study takes the current situation and development path of small basketball in Sinan County,Tongren City under the background of the small basketball program as the research object,and uses methods such as literature,interviews,questionnaires,and field visits to conduct in-depth and systematic research on the campus small basketball,basketball training camps,small basketball league matches,and small basketball representative teams in Sinan County,Tongren City,with the aim of summarizing the favorable factors of small basketball in Sinan County,Tongren City,Analyze the difficulties it faces and propose development paths.The research conclusions are as follows:1.The development of small basketball in Sinan County has the following favorable factors: in campus small basketball,the comprehensive quality of basketball teachers is high,the teaching and training programs and contents are reasonably arranged,and the population base of campus small basketball is large;in basketball training camps,the comprehensive ability of the coaching team is strong,the salary satisfaction is high,the preparation work is important,the number of training camps is growing rapidly,and the number of participants is high;in small basketball league In terms of small basketball league,the organization and management institutions are perfect,female athletes are growing rapidly,the motivation for sports participation is correct,the basic skills are solid,the competition environment is good,and the participants are satisfied with the competition system;in terms of small basketball teams,the coaches have good coaching motivation and appropriate coaching philosophy,the training content is comprehensive and the training methods are appropriate,and the competition resources are sufficient.2.The following dilemmas exist in the development of basketball in Sinan County: in school basketball,there are few opportunities for basketball teachers to participate in training,most schools do not carry out curriculum evaluation,school competitions are not sufficiently developed,the formation of school teams varies,and venue equipment is not sufficiently equipped;in basketball camps,there is an imbalance in the gender ratio of teachers and a large proportion of part-time teachers,some camps are not sufficiently developed for competitions,and there is a lack of basketball-specific equipment;In the small basketball league,there is a lack of hierarchical planning in coaches’ training programs,fewer opportunities for referee training,a single source of referees and a lack of motivation to officiate,lower quality of publicity work,weak operating funds,and difficulty in forming long-term and stable partnerships with sponsors;in the small basketball team,there are fewer opportunities for coaches to receive training,and relying on the strength of one coach alone cannot effectively meet In terms of small basketball teams,coaches have less opportunities to receive training,and the strength of only one coach cannot effectively meet the needs of training and competition,the selection method is one-sided,the training funds are lacking,and the competition ability of the U12 girls’ team is significantly reduced.3.Based on the internal logic and connections of the four aspects of campus,training camp,league matches,and representative teams,the author proposes the following countermeasures: First,take the campus small basketball game as the foundation,and continuously increase the population base of small basketball game;The second is to use basketball training camps as a breakthrough to improve the quality of the small basketball sports population;Third,take small basketball league matches as the carrier to explore outstanding small basketball players;The fourth is to continuously improve the competitiveness of small basketball sports led by small basketball representative teams.
