Aesthetic ability is a kind of individual psychological expression and an important aspect that can not be ignored in the overall development of students.Under the background of core literacy,aesthetic ability is a factor that must be considered whether it is an inevitable requirement for learning subjects to make progress in education and teaching activities,or a necessary quality proposed by the society to adapt to the needs of social development.The subject characteristics of Chinese provide a strong support for the implementation of aesthetic education in Chinese teaching activities.The narrative works selected in this textbook provide a position for the implementation of aesthetic education in Chinese teaching activities.However,how to use narrative works to cultivate students’ aesthetic ability is a teaching problem for many frontline teachers at present.This paper aims to combine the results of questionnaire and interview to analyze the current situation of aesthetic ability cultivation in the narrative works teaching of the third section of primary school Chinese,and analyze the reasons for the current situation,and then put forward corresponding suggestions and optimization measures.This paper is mainly divided into the following five parts:The first part,from the party and the state attaches great importance to aesthetic education in schools,the Chinese curriculum standards for aesthetic education clear requirements,the ministry of the compilation of primary school Chinese textbooks the importance of narrative works,Chinese curriculum standards for narrative works requirements,the background of the topic.By combing the domestic and foreign researches on aesthetic ability cultivation,aesthetic ability cultivation in Chinese teaching and aesthetic teaching of narrative works in primary school Chinese,the research status and development trend at home and abroad in this field are clarified.At the same time,on the basis of the existing research,this paper conducts in-depth research on the core concepts such as narrative works and aesthetic ability,and seeks theoretical support from the perspective of psychology and aesthetics to determine the research ideas and methods.The second part is the compilation of the number,style types and theme characteristics of selected articles of narrative works in the third section of primary school Chinese,and the in-depth analysis of aesthetic education elements such as language beauty,artistic conception beauty,image beauty and emotional beauty contained therein.Combined with the aesthetic psychological characteristics of primary school students in the third section,It shows that it is feasible to cultivate students’ aesthetic ability in the teaching of narrative works in the third learning section of primary Chinese.In the third part,questionnaire and interview are used to design the investigation,to grasp the current situation of the aesthetic ability of pupils in the third learning section and the current situation of teachers’ narrative works teaching.The fourth part,based on the survey results,analyzes the problems from the two aspects of students and teachers,and analyzes the causes of the problems,including: students’ interest in learning narrative works needs to be improved,teachers’ aesthetic quality and literature knowledge are lacking,the teaching methods of narrative works are not flexible and innovative,the teaching evaluation means is single,and the awareness of aesthetic education is weak.The fifth part,according to the existing problems and reasons analysis,put forward the corresponding suggestions and optimization strategies,including: first,improve the enthusiasm of students in independent learning,improve the interest in learning narrative works;Secondly,improve teachers’ aesthetic education and teaching quality,optimize the narrative works aesthetic education teaching methods and teaching design;Finally,perfect narrative works aesthetic education teaching evaluation.
