The promulgation of the "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)" gives a clear definition of the design of holistic teaching and puts forward specific practical requirements: on the one hand,it is clearly proposed that teachers should carry out the design of holistic teaching in teaching methods,and on the other hand,it is proposed to conduct special training on holistic teaching for teacher training.The However,in practice,teachers lack the corresponding theoretical foundation and teaching strategies,and the traditional teaching method based on class time artificially fragments the systematic mathematical knowledge.Therefore,based on the perspective of the new standard,it is very important to study the strategy of holistic teaching design for junior high school mathematics teaching.This paper summarizes the principles of the overall unit teaching design by reviewing a large amount of relevant literature,analyzing the relevant topics of the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)and the function topics of the junior high school mathematics textbook of the Human Education Edition,and taking the junior high school function as an example: fitting the standards and textbooks to guide the unit teaching;grasping the overall characteristics to integrate the unit teaching;insisting on student-oriented and active unit teaching;responding to feedback dynamically to The unit is designed and distributed on the basis of a questionnaire.On this basis,a questionnaire was designed and distributed to investigate the current situation of the overall teaching of mathematics units in several junior high schools in Shandong Province,analyze the causes of the problems presented by the survey results,and finally put forward corresponding improvement strategies: to conduct professional training to improve teachers’ cognitive level;to clarify the overall goal of the function unit and grasp the direction of teaching design;to establish the awareness of the overall teaching design of the unit and improve the teaching process;to optimize the evaluation system to ensure that the overall teaching of the unit is feasible.We hope that the study and discussion in this paper can help teachers to improve their knowledge and skills.Through the research and discussion of this paper,we hope to provide certain strategies and suggestions for the overall teaching of mathematics units in schools of the same type and geographical area.
