A Study On The Application Of Project Teaching Method In Teaching "Financial Foundation" In Secondary Vocational Schools

Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the country has attached increasing importance to education.While the traditional teacher-centered teaching has gradually become unsuitable for the needs of modern education,the student-centered teaching has been gaining ground.In this context of education,the student-centered nature of the project pedagogy has been widely recognized by increasing numbers of educators.In present day,the majority of secondary vocational schools resort to traditional teaching concepts in the teaching of "Financial Foundation",which seriously suppresses students’ learning initiative.Therefore,in order to promote educational reform in the secondary "Financial Foundation" classroom,we need to seek new teaching methods to guide the teaching of the curriculum.In order to meet the development requirements of educational reform and combine the characteristics of the "Financial Foundation" course,this paper combines the project teaching method with the "Financial Foundation" course teaching,and conduct research guided by constructivist theory,"learning by doing" theory,and multiple intelligences theory,which is embodied in the integration of the project teaching method into the teaching of the "Financial Foundation" course,using the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and interview method to study the "Financial Foundation" classroom of secondary vocational education,design teaching cases with reference significance,and explore the application of project teaching method in secondary vocational finance teaching,in order to provide reference for secondary vocational finance teaching.The full text comprises of six parts.The first part is the introduction.It includes the background,significance,purpose,research review,and content,ideas,methods and innovation points of the research.The second part is an overview of the relevant theories of project pedagogy,mainly introducing the constructivist theory,"learning by doing" theory and multiple intelligence theory.The third part is the application of the project teaching method in the application of the secondary vocational "Financial Foundation" course.In addition,the project-based design of the overall teaching plan of the course was carried out,the three-dimensional ability goal of the course was established,and the implementation process framework of the project teaching was designed by taking the units in "commercial banking" and "non-bank financial business" as examples.The fourth part is the application of project pedagogy in the teaching of "Financial Foundation" in secondary school.Through the teaching practice of project pedagogy in the course of "Financial Foundation",the author elaborated on the implementation process of project pedagogy,and carried out a questionnaire survey on students’ project teaching learning in this semester.After class,the effectiveness of the project pedagogy in the classroom was verified through student questionnaires.The fifth part summarizes the problems in the whole teaching process of project pedagogy,and suggests relevant countermeasures and measures for the current issues.The sixth part draws conclusions and looks ahead.Through in-depth research,several findings were discovered: firstly,project-based teaching methods are beneficial for improving students’ collaboration awareness.Secondly,project-based teaching methods improve teaching effectiveness.Thirdly,project-based teaching methods are helpful for enhancing teachers’ teaching ability.By using project-based teaching methods in the classroom,students’ learning efficiency can be enhanced as well as teachers’ teaching ability,thus promoting effective teaching in the classroom.
