"Small basketball" refers to the use of smaller courts,lower baskets and simpler rules to make it easier for children under the age of 12 to touch and like basketball.The development of small basketball is conducive to improving the physical and mental health of teenagers,cultivating their interest in basketball,excavating and reserving more basketball talents for the country,and promoting the healthy development of basketball in China.China Basketball Association’s 2017 "Little Basketball,Big Dream" development plan was officially released in Beijing,opening up a new world for the development of small basketball in China.Guanshan Lake District of Guiyang City is the main development area of Guanshan Lake District of Guiyang City.Its development of small basketball has a good practical basis,but it is still facing many problems due to the limitations of teachers,venue equipment,financial support and other aspects.Therefore,it has both theoretical and practical value to carry out research on the development of small basketball.Guided by the relevant theories of SWOT analysis in management,this paper uses the methods of literature review,interview,on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,and takes the primary schools in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang as the research object.Based on the investigation and analysis,this paper investigates and studies the primary schools in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang from the aspects of curriculum setting,teacher training,training and competition organization,and on this basis,it makes a comprehensive analysis of Guiyang with the SWOT matrix model as a tool.Through the above research,this paper puts forward some strategies and suggestions for developing small basketball activities in primary schools in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City in the future,hoping to promote the development of this activity to some extent.Through the above research,the following conclusions can be drawn:1.The internal advantages of the small basketball game in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City in the primary school campus mainly include:superior geographical location;Have a good mass base;Some schools have correct awareness of the development of small basketball;It has a "small basketball" demonstration school.2.The internal disadvantages of small basketball in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City in primary school campus mainly include: the lack of professional teachers of small basketball;There is a lack of equipment in the small basketball field,and the distribution of resources in each campus is uneven;The small basketball game lacks a continuous and stable high-quality competition platform.3.The external opportunities for the development of small basketball in the primary school campus in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City mainly include: strong support from national policies;The reform of juvenile basketball system provides a strong guarantee for small basketball;The rapid economic development of Guiyang;The dissemination of modern information means.4.The external threats to the development of small basketball in the primary school campus in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City are mainly as follows: the competition of other youth amateur sports started late;Some parents have misconceptions;Other uncontrollable factors.Through the construction of SWOT matrix,this paper analyzes the development of small basketball in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City in the primary school campus and the above influencing factors,and puts forward the following countermeasures: 1.Grasp the external opportunities and give play to the internal advantages: accelerate the implementation of relevant policies for small basketball and establish special fund guarantee;Perfect the talent transfer mechanism and expand the development channels;Strengthen the publicity of small basketball games through new media;Improve the atmosphere of small basketball games on campus and form a scale.2.Rely on internal advantages to cope with external challenges: vigorously promote campus;Build a mutual aid channel between the campus;Strengthen the construction of professional talent system in all aspects.3.Grasp external opportunities and overcome internal disadvantages: open the small basketball league in Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City and improve the small basketball competition system;Deepen the integration mode of sports and education and improve the quality of talents;Improve the internal structure of the organization.4.Improve internal disadvantages to cope with external challenges: improve the development path and promote the diversified development of talents;Improve the level of grass-roots training and strengthen the training of coaches;Learn from the development advantages of other provinces.
