| Developing campus basketball is an important way to develop school physical education.It is the basic requirement of deepening school PE reform;It is an important measure to promote the development of students’ physical quality and improve their physical and mental health.In response to the national call,promote the development of campus basketball and deepen the integration of sports and education.This paper selects Danyang Houxiang Experimental School,which has a relatively successful campus basketball development,as a typical case to study.Danyang Houxiang Experimental School campus basketball development has been 40 years of history,campus basketball from scratch,through the construction of campus basketball characteristics,Houxiang Experimental School in 2017 was named by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of "National Youth Campus Basketball Characteristics School".Since its establishment,it has formed a unique development mode of campus basketball with unique characteristics.It has won the championship 32 times in all levels and various kinds of basketball competitions,and won the championship in Danyang and Zhenjiang campus basketball competitions for 5 years in succession.It has won the championship in Jiangsu Province basketball competitions for 4 times,forming a campus culture of "small basketball,big education".As a township school,Danyang Houxiang Experimental School has achieved such outstanding achievements in the development of campus basketball,which is worth our further exploration.In this study,questionnaires,expert interviews,field visits and other research methods were used to study the development of campus basketball in Danyang Back-alley Experimental School,and SWOT analysis theory in management was used to carry out research and analysis on campus basketball in Danyang Back-alley Experimental School.In order to promote the sustainable development of campus basketball of Danyang Houxiang Experimental School.The conclusion is as follows:1 In the construction of campus basketball,Danyang Houxiang Experimental School has formed a perfect basketball management system.Strong faculty and sufficient funds provide a solid material guarantee for campus basketball.Unique basketball courses and perfect competitive training system promote the sustainable development of campus basketball.2 In the process of campus basketball construction,Danyang Houxiang Experimental School provided venue training despite the assistance of township enterprises.With the continuous improvement of basketball echelon construction and the concrete implementation of basketball training content,the shortage of sports infrastructure has become the main problem hindering the development of campus basketball.3 The PHYSICAL education teachers of Danyang Houxiang Experimental School have mastered the basic basketball teaching ability,but due to the heavy workload and lack of regular basketball training,their training means and methods are too single,and they have not formed a scientific and orderly training system.4 In the construction of campus basketball,Danyang Houxiang Experimental School has formed a unique course with basketball characteristics.However,traditional teaching methods are still adopted in the teaching process,which leads to slow teaching progress.The teaching content is limited to the learning of ball sense and ball performance,and the teaching effect is not ideal.5 In carrying out campus basketball activities in Danyang Houxiang Experimental School,due to safety concerns about participating in antagonistic projects and limitations of exam-oriented education,some parents expressed unsupportive attitudes towards students’ participation in campus basketball,thus affecting the selection of basketball team.Suggestions :(1)by allocating land to build a new basketball court,the school can transform and upgrade the existing basketball court and idle conference hall.(2)the multi-channel promote sports teachers’ teaching ability,active invite professional basketball coach into school lectures and training,organization of sports teacher to go out and see the high level basketball team training,and constantly improve the physical education teachers teaching ability,as well as the introduction of professional basketball talent,strengthen the construction of school basketball development,improve school basketball sports level.(3)Actively develop basketball characteristic courses;Organize teaching and research activities regularly to create a new teaching model of school basketball course.(4)Strengthen site construction and implement routine management;At the same time,schools can strengthen the construction of school medical work,hire professional medical staff as school doctors,to ensure the safety of students to participate in campus activities.(5)Schools should define their own positioning,construct campus basketball development plan,take the government as the leading role,social organizations to participate,to provide support and guarantee for the development of campus basketball,strengthen the educational function of campus basketball,and establish basketball characteristic brand. |
