This paper takes the interdisciplinary thematic practice activity centered on chemistry as an example.It establishes the design framework of interdisciplinary thematic practice activities in chemistry and explores the design methods and implementation strategies of interdisciplinary thematic practice activity and focus on impact on student.It aims at providing reference for optimizing interdisciplinary teaching in middle schools and improving students’ core literacy.Through etymological analysis and connotation research,this paper defines the core concepts of interdisciplinary subject practice activities in chemistry,and combs the design principles and nature of interdisciplinary subject practice activity in chemistry.Classification for different kind of interdisciplinary subject practice activities is made according to goal and result.Combined with relevant literature and existing theoretical practice,this paper analyzes the design elements of interdisciplinary thematic practice activity,then constructs the design model of interdisciplinary thematic practice activities in chemistry.Based on the model above,this paper designed a series of interdisciplinary subject practice activities in chemistry and took "Exploration of the factors affecting the corrosion of bronzes and protection methods" as an example to elaborate the specific implementation process and strategies of interdisciplinary subject practice activities in chemistry.The comprehensive evaluations of this interdisciplinary thematic practical activity are shown by classroom observation,activity task list,experimental report,student group report and presentation and student interview.Finally,by analyzing the reinforcement of students’ chemical concepts,scientific research methods consciousness and interdisciplinary literacy during the implementation of chemical interdisciplinary thematic practice activities,this paper summarizes the achievements and shortcomings in the design and implementation of interdisciplinary thematic practice activities,and provides suggestions for the design and application improvement of chemical interdisciplinary thematic practice activities in the future from the perspectives of teachers,schools and society.
