According to the four core qualities of Chinese subject required in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision),combined with the current situation of the evaluation of novel reading at home and abroad,this paper combines "key capabilities" with "novel reading evaluation",clarifies the multiple disputes about the subject’s key capabilities,tries to sort out the novel reading evaluation system based on the cultivation of key capabilities,designs an evaluation tool suitable for novel reading,and applies the novel reading evaluation tool to the daily teaching for practical research.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter One is introduction.This part introduces the research object,core concept,research status,research methods and research significance.The second chapter expounds the concept of novel reading evaluation based on the cultivation of key capabilities,and designs an evaluation tool according to various evaluation types.The third chapter takes the novel A Dream of Red Mansions as an example to show the application of the reading evaluation tool,and analyzes the application results.Chapter Four is conclusion which summarizes the main conclusions and inspirations of this paper,and looks forward to the continuous innovation of teaching mode in the future.
