| During the past five years, our country has vigorously promoted the digital construction of the future countryside. At the same time, rural areas not only face the requirements of digital development, but also face the dilemma of aging. The reality is that older people are increasingly active on digital platforms. The elderly are not only passive recipients of technology, but also gradually become users and participants of digital technology, and even become the main members of the use of digital technology.Due to the slow development of modern technology in rural areas, the integration of technology and life is still in a transitional stage, which gives the rural elderly more space for independent choice. In the qualitative study, the elderly in H Village,B Town,S County,Z City were selected as the research objects, with multiple rational choices as the theoretical basis. This study draws the following conclusions:The actions of the rural elderly in technology application can be divided into four types: active access, passive access, active avoidance and inability to access. The four types of rural elderly have different characteristics in learning willingness, technology cognition, difficulty perception and emotional expression. At the same time, the pursuit of demand satisfaction and sufficient resource support are the characteristics of active access groups.Stress response and perceived benefit are the characteristics of passive access population.Active avoidance is characterized by low level of demand and alert to risk, while inability to acquire is mainly characterized by resource obstruction and ability limitation. The logic behind the selective technology application of the rural elderly group is mainly the compound logic of value, society, economy and power. The rational logic of value is manifested as the process of confrontation and internalization.Economic rational logic is reflected in their balance and choice of cost and time convenience.Social rational logic is represented by social isolation, connection and situational interaction.Rational logic of power shows the process of power transfer and acquisition. At the same time, the selective use of technology by rural older persons has multiple impacts on individuals, families, communities and society.First,it acts as a window to connect individuals, and to a certain extent,it protects and divides individuals.Second,it constantly changes family relations and reconstructs family structure. Then it promotes and inspires the development of community building, and finally this action continuously influences the changes of rural social culture in social integration. Finally, this study believes that social work intervention should start from the following perspectives: pay attention to the complexity of individual life, adhere to the empowerment perspective and make full use of diversified perspectives. In this perspective, social work practices need to adhere to calls for social inclusion, technology empowerment through classified access, and diverse program design. |
