High-level teachers are the backbone of the development of high-quality education.The training of undergraduate normal university students is an important source of teacher team construction.The teaching practice ability of normal students is an important part of the cultivation of normal students.Through the literature review,it is found that the overall level of teachers’ teaching practice ability in the current basic education stage is not ideal,which is most likely to be caused by the poor effect of pre-service training.At present,the research on the training of undergraduate normal university students pays more attention to the normal universities which are directly under the Ministry of Education and provincial key normal universities,and pays less attention to local normal universities,but in fact,local normal universities occupy the dominant position in the training of normal university students.Therefore,this study takes H College as an example to focus on the cultivation of teaching practice ability of undergraduate normal students in local normal universities.The real teaching practice ability can only be presented and accurately investigated in the real teaching practice environment,and the work practice environment after graduation is the only real teaching practice environment.In order to understand the real teaching practice ability and the courses that are helpful to the improvement of teaching practice ability,we must study from the perspective of normal university graduates.Therefore,in this study,we selected 459 normal graduates from 2015 to 2020 as the research objects,used the mixed research method of quantitative and qualitative to collect data and carried out the retrospective research on the cultivation of teaching practice ability.This study mainly explores the following four questions: First,From the perspective of the graduates,what is the current situation of the real teaching practice ability of normal university students? Second,what are the factors affecting the level of teaching practice ability? Third,how does the role of various courses in normal university education play in the process of teaching practice ability training? Fourth,how to improve the undergraduate course curriculum system of primary education major?The results of the questionnaire survey showed: From the perspective of graduates,the overall level of teaching practice ability of primary education students in H College is good,and the ability development of various dimensions is unbalanced.In the ability of mastering professional knowledge,subject literacy and the integration of knowledge are weak;in the ability of learning teaching design,the abilities of master skills and analysis students need to be improved;in the ability of implementing course teaching,the context creation and learning guidance are relatively poor.Using a variety of statistical analysis methods to explore the influencing factors of teaching practice ability,we found that: In terms of personal background factors,maternal occupation has a significant effect on teaching practice ability.In terms of post-service factors,there are significant differences in teaching practice ability of normal graduates with different numbers of other teaching subjects and different teaching ages.Winning the district and county level teaching honors has a significant impact on the teaching practice ability of normal graduates.Compared with the training approaches such as on-the-job training and self-learning,university courses have the most significant influence on the cultivation of normal university students’ teaching practice ability.Further using the method of regression analysis,to explore the influence of various courses of primary school education major on the teaching practice ability of normal university students under the condition of controlling personal background factors and post-service factors such as work location,number of conversion of major teaching subjects,number of other teaching subjects,the highest teaching honor,teaching age and other variables.The result showed that:Education professional courses,subject courses and practical courses all have a significant positive impact on the teaching practice ability,and the education professional courses have the greatest influence on the teaching practice ability.Combined with the interview survey,it further explored the specific role of various university courses in the cultivation of teaching practice ability of normal university students.Based on the above research conclusions,this study puts forward the perfect strategies and suggestions for the cultivation of undergraduate students majoring in primary education from three aspects of training concept innovation,training mode transformation and curriculum optimization.In terms of training concept,establish a talent cultivation concept centered on subject education.In terms of training mode,the training mode of general practice should be transformed into "1+X" training mode,that is to train primary school general practice teachers with "one specialty and multiple abilities".In terms of curriculum setting,adjust the course structure and optimize the course content,specifically as follows: First,in the aspect of education professional courses,it should meet the actual needs of teaching and promote the combination of educational theory and educational practice.Second,in terms of practical courses,teachers’ teaching skills training should be strengthened,and the "3-2-2" practice mode should be constructed.Third,in terms of subject courses,the quality of subject curriculum implementation and the proportion of curriculum should be improved,and teaching reflection courses should be added.Fourth,in terms of general courses,the proportion of general courses should be appropriately reduced,and tool skills courses should be focused on.Fifth,in terms of expanded courses,some elective courses should be transformed into compulsory courses,and additional learning obstacle recognition and tutoring courses should be added.
