Learning engagement is a state reflected by students in the process of learning,which is continuous and full of positive emotions.At present,online learning has become a teaching method in universities and primary schools all over the country.The effect of students’ online learning needs to be measured by students’ online learning engagement.Moreover,it is difficult to fully understand the status of primary school students’ online learning.In this study,senior students of S Primary School in Yuncheng City were selected as the research objects.Questionnaire and interview methods were used to investigate the research objects.Based on the theory of learning engagement and self-determination theory,the current situation of students’ online learning engagement was understood.The results of the survey are as follows: the overall level of online learning involvement of primary school students is medium;In the dimension of vitality,students’ learning enthusiasm and persistence need to be improved.In the dimension of dedication,students’ learning is not challenging enough and their learning purpose is not clear.In the dimension of concentration,students’ learning is easily disturbed and their positive emotional experience needs to be enhanced.In addition,the students themselves,teachers,family and other aspects also caused the difference in demographic variables.Based on the theory of learning engagement and self-determination theory,this paper analyzes the reasons for the status quo of students’ online learning engagement and the reasons for the differences in demographic variables.The causes of students’ online learning involvement are mainly in the aspects of vitality,students’ low interest in learning,teachers’ lack of feedback,parents’ lack of involvement lead to students’ enthusiasm for learning to improve,students’ lack of motivation,teachers’ neglect of students’ interest in learning,parents’ lack of role model lead to students’ weak persistence in learning.In terms of dedication,students learn new knowledge in advance,teachers’ assignment deviation,parents learn new knowledge in advance,which leads to students’ lack of challenge in learning,students don’t understand the meaning of learning,teachers’ lack of guidance to students,parents’ distorted view of learning leads to students’ unclear learning objectives.In terms of concentration,students’ self-control is not high,teachers’ classroom is not interesting,the family environment is not harmonious,which leads to students’ learning is easily disturbed,students’ self-efficacy is low,teachers’ lack of design students’ experience of success,and parents’ negative evaluation of students make students’ positive emotional experience is not strong.The reasons for the population difference include gender difference,grade difference,class cadre difference and non-class cadre difference,only child difference and non-only child difference,and parents’ education difference.In this study,from the three aspects of vitality,dedication and focus,this paper puts forward the strategies to improve the online learning involvement of high-grade in primary school: in the aspect of vitality,improve students’ learning enthusiasm and enhance students’ learning persistence;Increase the learning challenge in terms of dedication and clarify the learning purpose of students;The focus aspect reduces the interference of students’ learning process and enhances the positive emotional experience.In addition,aiming at the differences between boys,sixth grade students,non-class cadres,non-only children and parents with low educational background,this paper puts forward strategies to improve pupils’ learning involvement. |
