| Games play a crucial role in the early stages of young children’s growth and development.The nature of young children is to play,so allowing them to learn knowledge through games is in line with the laws of their physical and mental development.Picture books are the main materials for children’s learning,usually occupying only a small amount of space,but they are full of storytelling or prominent character characteristics,which are very suitable for children’s language development characteristics and can cultivate their reading interest.So,applying games to picture book courses is very respectful of children’s educational philosophy.Especially when applying performance games to the teaching process of teacher picture books,it is easier for children to deeply understand the plot of picture books,enhance their sense of participation,and bring joy to them.Using performance games in picture book teaching allows young children to actively participate,learn,collaborate,and communicate with each other,thereby experiencing emotions in picture book stories.This article mainly studies the application of performance games in the teaching process of picture books in kindergarten large classes.By reviewing and researching the concepts of children’s performance games,kindergarten classes,picture book teaching,and relevant domestic and foreign research literature.This article takes Z Kindergarten in Hengshui City as the research object.Through observation of the teaching process and interviews with 8 teachers of Z Kindergarten’s large class children,the application of performance games in the teaching process of kindergarten’s large class picture books is analyzed and studied.The main research purpose of this article is to identify the problems of performance games in the teaching activities of kindergarten large class picture books through research,and summarize and propose suggestions for the problems,so that performance games can be better applied in the teaching activities of kindergarten large class picture books.Through methods such as questionnaire survey and observation,this article found that there are mainly the following problems in the use of performance games in the large class picture book teaching activities of Z Kindergarten: 1.Teachers do not fully adhere to the principle of children as the main body.2.The teacher’s guidance lacks inspiration,resulting in children’s performances not being vivid enough.3.Teachers lack training in young children’s language expression skills.4.The evaluation methods for teachers are relatively single and general.5.Teachers place more emphasis on performance and relatively neglect games.6.Teachers have biases in the application of performance games in picture book teaching activities.In response to the problems in this study,propose strategies for the application of performance games in picture book teaching activities,which are divided into three aspects.The first aspect is the improvement of teachers’ understanding and abilities.1.Teachers should follow the principle of playing with children as the main body.2.Improve teachers’ guidance ability in performing games.3.Emphasis should be placed on strengthening the training of young children’s language expression abilities.4.Effectively improving teachers’ teaching reflection ability.The second aspect is the improvement and optimization of the teaching process.1.Improve the use of performance games in picture book teaching.2.Enrich game props and increase the frequency of props updates.3.Improve the evaluation method of performance games in picture book teaching.The third aspect is the support and guarantee of kindergartens.1.Clarify the nature of early childhood education and strengthen awareness of early childhood education.2.Improve the game environment and increase the number of props.3.Strengthen the training of teachers’ teaching level.Performance games are a very important teaching method in picture book teaching.Teachers should fully utilize the application of performance games in picture book teaching activities,and stimulate children’s interest in participating in picture book teaching game activities... |
