Games are children's nature,children's unique way of life and learning.Let children learn in games is not only a teaching method that conforms to the law of children's physical and mental development,but also a teaching concept that respects children.Picture books are important resources for early childhood education.Their plots are very interesting,which is a main reason to attract children and also the reason why games are used in the teaching of picture books.The teacher studied and excavated picture books,consciously refined the elements containing games,and used games to help children understand picture books and present the themes of picture books.Games in picture books bring children plot experience and infinite happiness.In the game,children are enthusiastic,active participation,learn to cooperate,learn to communicate,language ability training,play an important role in the growth of children.This study is aimed at the application of games in the teaching activities of picture books.Literature analysis is mainly used to review and sort out the concepts and research literature of kindergarten games and picture book teaching activities at home and abroad.Taking a provincial demonstration kindergarten in C city,J province as an example,the application of games in picture book teaching activities of big classes in the kindergarten was investigated by means of observation and interview.Through interviews and observation,it is found that the following problems exist in the application of games in the teaching activities of picture books in the big class of kindergarten: inappropriate control of game time;Children's main role in the game has not been fully played;Ignoring the training of children's language expression ability in the game;There is a deviation in the application of games by teachers.Through this study,the following conclusions are drawn: games are not only an important part of picture book teaching activities,but also an important teaching means.Games should be effectively used in picture book teaching activities.The development of games can help improve the teaching effect of picture books and develop children's language expression ability.Teachers should use games flexibly and creatively.It stimulates the interest of children to participate in the teaching games of picture books and arouses the initiative of children to learn picture books through games.The teacher should skillfully set the situation to stimulate all children to participate in the activities.
