Preschool students are an important teaching force in the development of preschool education and an important part of the preschool teachers’ team.The quality of preschool students’ education is related to the development prospects of preschool education.In the context of information society era,the learning of computer knowledge of preschool students can not only promote the comprehensive development of preschool education in vocational schools and meet the long-term personalized education needs of preschool students,but also promote the professional development of preschool teachers,improve the quality of preschool education,and promote the development of education modernization and information society.Based on the information literacy goal structure theory,teacher professional development theory and the objects of study of preschool students in three vocational secondary schools in S,the current situation of information literacy of preschool students is examined along the following four dimensions: information awareness,information knowledge,information skills and information ethics.Regarding the results of the respondents,the results of the survey are as follows: The students in the primary class of the vocational colleges in city S generally have an average level of information literacy,scoring highest on the information ethics dimension and lowest on the information literacy dimension.In terms of information awareness,preschool pupils do not have sufficient understanding of the importance of information and there is a need to improve their inherent information search skills.In terms of information literacy,preschool pupils lack basic information theory and technical knowledge,and especially the information literacy related to this speciality needs to be improved.In terms of information ability,students’ ability to summarize and analyze information and create information need to be improved.In terms of information ethics,there is still room for improvement in the concept of information ethical concept and information ethical behavior.The information literacy of students in vocational education and training is the result of the interaction between the students’ own factors and those of the external environment,where the students’ own factors are the direct cause of the problem and those of the external environment are the indirect cause of the problem.After investigation,it was found that students’ individual factors are mainly manifested in three aspects: first,students lack interest and attention to information,and their sensitivity to information is not high;Second,students’ autonomy,self-control and willpower in learning are not strong;Third,students’ practical ability and innovation ability are not high,and they do not adapt to the networked learning environment.In terms of external environment,the school environment is mainly manifested in unreasonable curriculum settings,single teaching methods,imperfect infrastructure,lack of evaluation system.The impact of family environment and social environment on students’ information literacy is also of great significance.This article examines the problems and causes of information literacy of preschool students in secondary vocational schools and proposes strategies for optimizing students’ information literacy with respect to their own and external environmental factors.
