| As we enter a new era of digitalization and intellectualization,the ability to create not only becomes the core driver of social development,but also an important index to measure international competitive strength,and there is an enormous desire for innovative talent.How to cultivate creative people naturally came into the public attention and was the focus of discussion in the field of education.PBL(ProblemBased Learning)is a problem-based approach to address problems through a process of self-directed learning and cooperative communication,which is an effective way to help develop high order thinking such as creative thinking.With this background,this study is dedicated to applying the advantages of PBL to the cultivation of creative thinking,exploring the ways of integrating them and its benefits and effectiveness in instruction.First,a review of domestic and international research literature related to "creative thinking" and "PBL" was conducted,and the concepts,characteristics and processes of creative thinking were sorted out.,summarized the features and general process of PBL,established a basic understanding of related research.After that,based on this,construct a PBL teaching model for creative thinking cultivation.The model is aimed at developing creative thinking in students,and the theoretical basis is constructivism,Higher-order thinking,Situated cognition and learning,Cooperative learning,etc.Students are the master of learning,and problems are the core clues of learning.The whole instruction process is divided into four stages: discovering problems,finding solutions,implementing solutions,and presenting summaries,teacher provides necessary instruction and resource to support students’ activities.Finally,the completed model was put into practical application,and the opensource hardware robotics course was used as a teaching practice for this model in high school club classes.Based on the specific teaching situation,an instructional design was developed and then implemented to verify the effectiveness of this model.The experiment was conducted in both control and experimental classes,and the data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS software to evaluate students’ learning outcomes after collecting student surveys,student productions,and student interviews information.The results show that the teaching model of this study can help students learn the knowledge underlying the problems and has a positive effect in developing creative thinking. |
