| Research purpose:Cardiorespiratory fitness(CRF)and executive function(EF),as the key factors to ensure the comprehensive development of adolescent physical and mental health,the study of the relationship between the two has become a hot topic in the field of physical education,which has attracted wide attention from scholars.Some studies have different results in the relationship between cardiopulmonary endurance and executive function with the study region,test paradigm,gender and age.In view of this,this study through the different gender,different ages of teenagers cardiopulmonary endurance,executive function,understand the basic distribution of adolescent cardiopulmonary endurance,executive function,explore the cardiopulmonary endurance and executive function and the association between the child function,aims to promote the comprehensive development of adolescent physical and mental health provide reference.Research object and method:In this study,a total of 693 students were included in the study by selecting adolescents aged 13~18 in Shanghai,Anqing,Taizhou,Suzhou and Shangrao for cardiorespiratory endurance and executive function.The basic characteristics of cardiorespiratory endurance and executive function were descriptively statistical,and the differences in cardiorespiratory endurance and executive function of adolescents of different ages were compared by ANOVA,and secondly,the correlation between cardiorespiratory endurance and executive function was explored by Pearson correlation analysis.Finally,linear stratified regression was used to analyze the relationship between cardiorespiratory endurance and executive function in adolescents,and the relationship was quantified.Research results:1.Basic characteristics of CRF and EF:(1)The mean value of 20-meter running performance(20m Shuttle Run Test,20m SRT at 23-18)increases with age,from 41.55laps at 13 to 48.51laps at 17 and then to42.78laps at 18;maximum oxygen uptake(VO2max)decreases with age,from53.26m L/kg.min at 13 to 46.55m L/kg.min at 18.Among them,20 m SRT and maximum oxygen uptake were lower than boys.(2)The mean value of the inhibition,refresh and conversion function response of adolescents showed a downward trend with the growth of age.Overall,male inhibition,refresh(1-back,2-back),and conversion functional responses were 5.41ma,811.33ms,1101.87ms,340.15ms,respectively;female inhibition,refresh(1-back,2-back),and conversion functional reactions were 4.45ms,829.12ms,1157.65ms,378.41ms,respectively.2.Comparison of adolescent CRF and EF:(1)The negative relationship between VO2maxand the refresh function(1-back,2-back),and the conversion function response(r values were-0.143,-0.176,-0.129,respectively,P<0.05).(2)The differences in inhibitory and refreshing functions(1-back and 2-back)at different cardiopulmonary endurance levels were statistically significant(t values were6.235,28.512 and 15.183,respectively,P<0.05).3.Linear regression of CRF and EF in adolescents:(1)Sex and age as controlling variables,VO2maxThe inhibition of executive function,refresh(1-back,2-back),and conversion function response all show negative prediction(βvalues are-0.086,-0.195,-0.162,-0.090,respectively),VO2maxFor each1m L/kg.min,Inhibition of executive function,refresh(1-back,2-back),and switching functional reactions shortened 0.356ms,2.540ms,3.519ms and 1.446ms,respectively,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)With sex and age as control variables,the inhibition of executive function,and refreshing(1-back,2-back)functional responses all showed negative prediction(βvalues were-0.122,-0.252,-0.187,P<0.05,respectively).Taking the low cardiopulmonary endurance as the reference group,the inhibition decreased by 7.890ms(P<0.05),and the high cardiopulmonary endurance of 1-back and 2-back decreased 52.046ms and 65.602ms(P<0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Teenagers experience a slight decrease in VO2max as they age,with boys having higher VO2max than boys.(2)With the growth of age,teenagers have better executive function performance.Boys refresh and transform functions perform better than girls,but girls have better inhibitory function performance.(3)Under the condition of constant gender and age,the higher the adolescent cardiopulmonary endurance,the better the suppression and refresh function performance of executive function. |
