Handball is a team sport that is beneficial to the healthy development of teenagers’ body and mind,and it is an official event of the Olympic Games.Handball in China started late and had a good performance in history,but in recent years,handball in China once became an "unpopular" sport.With the promulgation of Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Sports and Education to Promote the Healthy Development of Teenagers by the State Sports General Administration and the Ministry of Education in September 2020,it is pointed out that it is necessary to promote the coordinated development of teenagers’ cultural learning and physical exercise and strengthen the construction of traditional sports schools,which provides new opportunities and new ideas for the development of handball in China.In view of this,under the background of the integration of sports and education,this study takes five traditional handball schools in Xuzhou as the investigation objects,and analyzes their development difficulties in comparison with the policies and opinions of the state and Jiangsu Province on the integration of sports and education,and makes an attribution analysis of the development difficulties of Xuzhou traditional handball schools under the background of the integration of sports and education from the aspects of ideological integration,goal integration,resource integration,mechanism integration and "human" cultivation factors,so as to explore.The study believes that:1.There are five traditional handball schools in Xuzhou,mainly primary schools,and their operation modes are city team-run,city team-county-run and independent operation.The management mode of school handball training team is mainly the coach responsibility system,and the school support policy is less;The allocation of handball teachers is unbalanced,and their academic qualifications are mainly undergraduate.Most of them are physical education teachers who have changed to handball teachers,and their professional ability is not high and their scientific research level is weak.There is a big gap between venue facilities and equipment facilities,and the special funds for handball are insufficient;The characteristics of school handball basically meet the conditions and standards recognized by China Handball Association.There are few competitions in school,lack of school-based courses,short training years and less experience of handball players,and there is a contradiction between learning and training,so it is better to transport reserve talents.2.The difficulties existing in the development of traditional handball schools in Xuzhou are as follows: there are few supportive policies and the system of further education is not perfect;The development fault of regional handball traditional schools;School leaders pay insufficient attention to it;Special teachers are lacking and unbalanced;Parents’ recognition of handball is not high;The handball competition system is not perfect;Insufficient investment in funds.3.Taking Zhenxing Road Primary School in Xuzhou City as a case study,the author draws a conclusion that its development mode is: adopting the operation mode of "city team running school";School handball competitions and special activities have flourished;The mechanism of giving consideration to both learning and training;Management mode of joint responsibility.4.Under the background of the integration of physical education and education,the development of Xuzhou traditional handball school should follow the following paths:(1)improve ideological understanding and break the barriers of physical education and education concepts;(2)Improve the educational goal and construct the evaluation system of students’ development;(3)Optimize the allocation of teachers and consolidate the handball resource guarantee mechanism;(4)Improve the competition system and the management system of handball events;(5)Strengthen personnel training and establish a handball reserve talent system. |
