| Handball is popular with majority of adolescents, as it is one of sports helpful tofitnessã€healthy heartã€brain development〠Moral cultivation〠team spirit cultivation. Thepopularity of handball in schools is not content, because of conditions of the ground,equipment and teachers. On the other hand, publicity and popularization is not enough. Theurgent task facing to the traditional project schools for handball in Anhui is how to makefull use of handball, which bears deep foundation of the masses and good developmenttrend in Anhui, in order to mine rich the content of Education it has, reform of sportssystem of the middle schools in Anhui through the reform of handball teaching, training,actualize healthy and sustainable development of handball, and serve the overall goal ofquality education in middle schools better. This is also a factor which may limit thedevelopment of handball in Anhui province in the next period of time.This paper investigates and analyzes the handball situation in Anhui province byusing questionnaires and mathematic statistic methods in the traditional project schools forhandball of Anhui province such as：Hefei Construction School，Hefei No.3MiddleSchool， Huaibei Kaiqu Middle School，Guoyang No.1Middle School, Huaiyuan No.1Middle School, Huainan No.3Middle School, Tongling No.10Middle School, and makesa summary of the problems reflected. The situation investigation includes: theConfiguration and the position management of coaches, the coaches’ basic situation ofscientific researches, the coaches’ attitudes to the wages and allowances, the cultivation ofstudent players, the training, the school leadership’ attention to the cultural lessons of theplayers, the training management in the traditional project schools for handball of Anhuiprovince. According to the investigation, the paper shows the deficiencies of the handballdevelopment, so as to develop handball better in the traditional project schools forhandball. Conclusions by investigating and analyzing:1. Young and middle-aged handball teachers and coaches as the backbone force haveappeared in the traditional project schools for handball in Anhui. But they have to improvetheir theoretical and professional levels. Some handball teachers (coaches) in middleschools have other sports to teach according to the needs of the school sports teaching, thehandball teachers and coaches of Anhui province have to improve their professional skillsas a whole2. The players are highly motivated in handball, but they are stressed in study, and thefamilies of the players are not much keen on handball. Due to the poor cultural basis of themost players at enrollment, there are still a lot of contradictions between their culturallearning and routine training.3. The hardware facilities in the traditional project schools for handball in Anhui suchas handball courts and equipment can meet the needs of handball development in eachschool. A single form and small number of handball matches leads to lack of finances, andthe source of funding is too narrow and single to assure future rapid expansion of handball,resulting in the difficult consistency improvement of training levels.4. The handball team mode is simple. Setting up a team mainly depends on schoolfunding.5. The publicity and development to handball matches of the traditional projectschools for handball in Anhui is not enough, and the social attentions to handball trainingand matches is not concentrated. The Positive roles of handball idols are not exerted due tothe lack of making and packaging handball stars in schools, cities and provinces. |
