| Peer conflict among young children refers to the process of conflicts between young children and their peers due to differences in consciousness and behavior in the kindergarten environment.Due to the lack of teacher guidance,young children’s peer conflict will lose the enormous educational elements contained in the conflict and the educational value and significance of the conflict.Teachers’ guidance on peer conflict among young children can effectively solve peer conflict,help young children form good interpersonal relationships,and lay a good foundation for adapting to social life;On the other hand,it can effectively exert the educational value of peer conflict.This study analyzes the current situation of peer conflict between teachers and young children,finds out the problems in peer conflict between teachers and young children,and explores how to better guide teachers in peer conflict,providing some reference for front line educators.This study selected young children teachers from 6 classes of A Kindergarten in H City,covering the period from September to November 2022.The researcher went deep into kindergartens and observed young children,recording 51 times of peer conflict.By focusing on 29 typical cases and combining interviews with teachers,the researcher further understood the current situation of teacher guided peer conflict.This study analyzes the current situation of teacher guidance conflict from aspects such as teacher’s guidance attitude,guidance timing,and specific behavior,in order to identify some problems in teacher guidance conflict.Based on the analysis of the current situation of peer conflict in teacher guidance,the following problems exist when teachers guide peer conflict: First,the enthusiasm for guidance is not high;Second,the timeliness of guidance is not strong;The effectiveness of guidance is insufficient;Fourth,the guidance is not targeted;Fifth,poor cooperation in guidance.Based on interviews and analysis with teachers,it is concluded that these problems in conflict guidance are influenced by preschool teachers,kindergartens,children themselves,and children’s families.Through the analysis of these influencing factors,this study proposes some educational suggestions for teachers to guide peer conflict from four aspects: preschool teachers,kindergartens,children’s families,the country,and society. |
