| With the increasing popularity of higher education,the private colleges become the important component of higher education in our country.Because of the particularity of private colleges,they will face a variety of problems in the new environment after entering the university.This article uses the professional theory and value concept of social work,and uses the group work method as a means to discuss the adjustment problem of Grade 22 freshmen in J Department of W private College.Full text in addition to the introduction part,mainly from the following four parts:First of all,this paper draws on the Adaptability Scale for College Students by Lu Xiefeng(the average total score of fitness is 5 points,with more than 4 points indicating strong adaptability and less than 4 points indicating weak adaptability),Using the methods of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper investigated the overall situation of freshmen adaptability in Grade 22 of W College from five dimensions of learning,psychological emotion,environment,interpersonal relationship and life.The results showed that the average score of the five dimensions of the Grade 22 freshmen in the J Division of the university did not exceed 4,indicating that the freshmen of this college generally had maladjustment,and the fitness of each dimension was from low to high was learning adaptation(average of 3.05)< psychological emotion adaptation(average of 3.12)< environmental adaptation(average of 3.49)<interpersonal relationship adaptation(average of 3.50)< life adaptation(average of3.93).Secondly,this paper discusses the application of group work method in the adaptability of Grade 22 freshmen in the J Division of the university.According to the results of the previous survey,practical activities were carried out from the two aspects of "learning" and "psychological emotion" with the worst adaptability.After a final selection,10 freshmen from the J Division of the university were recruited to form a College freshmen Adaptive Development team and come up with an activity plan.The practice process was based on the scheme design,and six group practice activities of three stages of targeted assistance were carried out for 10 group members.In the first stage,two group activities with the theme of "Acquaintance is fate" and "Objective selfunderstanding" were carried out to guide the members to relieve their psychological emotions;In the second stage,two group activities with the theme of "Professional knowledge" and "Finding learning methods" were carried out to help group members improve their learning ability;In the third stage,two group activities with the themes of "University in my Heart" and "Starting a new Journey of University" were carried out to motivate team members to forge ahead.Again,this paper evaluates the effect of group activities.Mainly compared with the method of before and after the test,the test results show that: in the aspect of average fitness of the group members are higher than before the test values,the mean value of learning fitness increased from 2.91 to 3.84,the mean value of psychological and emotional fitness increased from 3.02 to 4.02.In the qualitative aspect,the group members not only became clear in self-cognition,effectively alleviated psychological pressure and negative emotions,but also mastered new learning methods.Thus,the confidence of freshmen has been greatly improved,and their adaptability to college has been significantly improved.Finally,according to the process and effect of group work,the paper believes that group work method is feasible and effective in solving the problems of learning adaptability and psychological and emotional adaptability of the freshmen in private colleges.Therefore,the article suggests that in solving the problem of learning and psychological and emotional adaptation of private college freshmen.On the one hand,group work method can be incorporated into the entrance education system of freshmen,on the other hand,we should actively pay attention to the differences in the needs of freshmen,and at the same time,we should strengthen the guidance of learning methods,so that freshmen can quickly integrate into the university life. |
