| With the proposal of the new curriculum reform to cultivate students’ core competencies,many frontline teachers have begun to consider how to implement core competencies in the classroom.The design of unit teaching is conducive to cultivating students’ core literacy by comprehensively grasping mathematical content and planning teaching as a whole.The UbD(Understanding by Design)theory emphasizes that teaching should enable students to transfer knowledge based on understanding the knowledge points and learn to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems,providing a strong theoretical basis for unit teaching design.This study first analyzes the current research status of UbD theory,unit teaching,and set and commonly used logical terms both domestically and internationally through literature review,and sorts out theoretical support.On this basis,a survey method is used to understand the current situation of high school mathematics classroom teaching and identify the problems that exist in high school mathematics teachers’ classroom teaching and teaching design.Secondly,construct a unit teaching design program based on UbD theory,and then use the "set and commonly used logical terms" unit as an example for teaching design.Finally,the experimental research method was used for teaching practice.The experimental class and the control class were taught the "Set and Common Logical Terms" unit under the conditions of UbD theory based teaching design and traditional teaching design,respectively.After the teaching was completed,the unit grades and classroom performance of the two classes were analyzed,and the student unit learning feedback questionnaire of the experimental class was used to test the learning effect.Through research,this paper draws the following three conclusions:1.Unit teaching design based on UbD can ensure students’ full participation in mathematical learning,develop higherorder mathematical thinking abilities,and promote teachers’ professional development.2.The teaching of sets and commonly used logical language units based on UbD can promote students’ understanding and application of mathematical language.3.The teaching of UbD based sets and commonly used logical language units can implement students’ core mathematical literacy in mathematical abstraction and logical reasoning.Suggestions for teachers to design unit teaching based on UbD theory include: 1.Conduct in-depth analysis of textbooks and curriculum standards,and accurately grasp the knowledge context.2.Conduct reverse teaching design guided by teaching objectives.3.Create rich teaching contexts to promote knowledge transfer and application. |
