| How to realize students’ thorough understanding and transfer application of knowledge is a hot topic in current mathematics teaching research and discussion,and "Understanding by Design(UbD)" can effectively promote its realization.The main research questions: What problems do frontline high school math teachers have in unit teaching design? To solve these problems,what are the unit instructional design strategies based on UbD theory? According to the proposed strategy,how to design the teaching unit of "equations of straight lines and circles" and study its effectiveness?Firstly,through literature research method,literature related to mathematical unit instructional design and UbD theory is summarized and sorted out.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview are used to investigate the unit instructional design of some first-line high school mathematics teachers,and the problems existing in the current unit instructional design are found: The attention to the core ideas and methods of the unit is not enough,and the overall nature is not strong;The overall teaching design of the unit is poor,and the correlation between lesson hours is weak;The teaching objectives related to comprehension are not detailed and it is not easy to evaluate the achievement of the situation;The achievability of the core literacy goal of mathematics is not strong and lacks organic integration;The evaluation of unit teaching is not paid enough attention,and the evaluation method is relatively single.Thirdly,based on the UbD theory,the following instructional design strategies are proposed:(1)Unit theme planning strategy: dividing teaching content,emphasizing the design and exploration of unit concepts;design basic questions to encourage students to keep thinking about unit concepts.(2)Unit goal design strategy: design multi-level goals to enhance the realizability of core literacy goals;refine the understanding target and apply the "six aspects of understanding" to sort out the understanding.(3)Unit evaluation design strategy: diversified evaluation,different types of objectives in different ways;achievement of evaluation literacy and design of evaluation tasks with real situations.(4)Unit activity design strategy: pay attention to the basic problems,design learning activities around the core problems;attach importance to learning experience and create experience to promote the implementation of core literacy.Finally,using the unit of "equations of straight lines and circles" as the carrier,a case is developed and an experimental study is carried out using the proposed unit instructional design strategy.Through the analysis of the results of the "unit test volume of straight linear and circle equations" of the experimental class and the control class,the effectiveness of the unit teaching design strategy based on UbD theory is preliminarily confirmed,which can effectively promote students to systematically master,thoroughly understand and transfer the unit learning content. |
