In recent years,there have been repeated violations of children’s basic rights and interests.Children are the future of social development and play an important role in promoting social development.As a vulnerable group of children,the protection of children in distress has gradually become a hot issue in society and has been widely concerned.At the state level,relevant protection policies for children in distress have been introduced to ensure the basic rights and interests of children in distress,including basic life,medical care,safety and education.However,the existing protection measures focus on the support from external forces,while ignoring the improvement of the internal resilience of children and families in distress.The improvement of resilience plays an important role in the growth and development of children in difficulties,but the current resilience training system for children in difficulties is not perfect.Studies have shown that social work can promote the protection of children in difficulties and the cultivation of resilience.This study intends to conduct a study on the current situation and problems of the resilience of children in difficulties,and explore the effectiveness of casework methods in improving the resilience of children in difficulties.This study takes the stress resistance level of children in distress in District L of Z city as the research object,and uses interview,non-participation observation and questionnaire to study the stress resistance status of children in distress in L community.Under the guidance of the resilience theory and based on the case intervention of poor children from low-income families in BH social work Station,we help poor children to improve their resilience.First of all,the author used the interview method and questionnaire survey to analyze the stress resistance of the service object,and found that the overall level of stress resistance of the service object was low,and the level of stress resistance needed to be improved.Secondly,under the guidance of the resilience theory,practical intervention is carried out with Little L as a case to improve the resilience level of the clients from the aspects of self-efficacy,learning ability,family support,interpersonal skills and social support.Thirdly,after the pre-and post-measurement comparison through the resilience level questionnaire,it was found that the service object L had corresponding improvement in self-efficacy,peer support system,learning ability,family support,psychological adaptability and other aspects.The results show that casework practice intervention plays an important role in the generation of resilience of children in distress,and promotes the self-efficacy,optimism and sense of belonging of the clients.To sum up,through the internal and external dimensions of multi-faceted casework practice intervention,the resilience level of children in difficulties has been significantly improved,effectively enhancing the role of protective factors for children in difficulties.However,there are still some problems in the practice,such as the maintenance and change of the resilience level of the service object,so it is still necessary to continue to carry out practical research on the effectiveness maintenance.At the end of the article,some suggestions are put forward for the follow-up practice,which can provide reference for the practical research on the improvement of stress resistance of children in difficulties.
