| In recent years, with the continuous development of urbanization, more and more children in distress in rural areas are facing physical, psychological, social and other problems.Due to the particularity of their growth environment, children in distress in rural areas cannot grow up like them.Because the rural children in distress grow up in a special environment, they cannot receive enough parental company, relatively complete school education and sufficient psychological counseling in the process of growing up.Children in distress have encountered many problems and challenges. In an environment where there are no conditions for timely and correct guidance, children cannot cope with the challenges brought by adversity, resulting in a continuous decline in their resilience level. The resilience of children in distress in rural areas can play a crucial role in coping with the challenges brought by various risk factors. Therefore, the intervention of social work services is needed to help them improve their resilience. In the development of children’s social work services, because children are not fully developed physically and psychologically, social workers often encounter difficulties in establishing relationships, communication, and interactions with children. Therefore, this study attempts to construct a working method of play-based narrative therapy according to the characteristics of children’s growth. This integrated therapy model is based on the development of children’s self, social cognition, social interaction and moral development.According to the same value concept of play therapy and narrative therapy,as well as metaphors and irregular expressions, guide social workers to maintain respect and curiosity from building an "immersive world" to help children build a narrative space, use games to help children create an immersive space, and at the same time reflect children’s mirror life. From exploring "exceptional stories" to help children externalize problems and explore preferred stories other than problems;from developing "new stories" to help children explore the branch stories behind metaphors, and then construct new stories. In these three steps social workers can touch the inner world of children.step by step.Based on field interviews and questionnaires of 10 children in distress in the W project,it was found that these children had a low level of resilience, and the outstanding performance was insufficient self-efficacy.After comprehensive consideration,a relatively special Xiao Yuan is selected as the service object, and the game-style narrative therapy method is used in the case intervention to help Xiao Yuan alleviate the difficulties caused by emotional cognition,problem-solving ability, interpersonal communication and goal setting, and then improve her self-efficacy and improve the level of resilience. In practice, social workers first help Xiao Yuan build an immersive narrative space through theme games, and use the emotional Ferris wheel game as a narrative medium to guide Xiao Yuan to correctly understand and learn to control her emotions.Secondly, social workers use the picture book "No One Likes Me" as a narrative medium to help Xiao Yuan solve the problem of making friends as a transfer student in the new environment. Finally, social workers used the film "Nezha:Birth of the Devil Child" as a narrative medium to help Xiao Yuan learn to look at herself correctly, solve problems correctly in the narrative, and find her own energy in the narrative. In each game, social workers find "exceptional stories" and develop "new stories" to help Xiao Yuan improve resilience. After completing the service, the social worker reflected and summarized the application of play-based narrative therapy in improving the resilience of children in distress.Practice has proved that the level of resilience of children in distress in rural areas needs to be improved. The method of play-based narrative therapy not only helps social workers to better communicate with children, but also improves the level of resilience of children in distress in rural areas. The method of play-based narrative therapy has its particularity. In the service, social workers do not set strict service goals, but focus on finding various relationships with children in a safe and immersive play narrative space, discovering own strengths. This paper further considers the application of game-based narrative therapy. The research proposes the importance of respectful understanding of children in the treatment process, the application of language arts in narrative communication, the lack of material conditions in the practice process. Finally, this study reflects and summarizes the lack of hard material conditions and problems in the practice process. |
