Montage is a technique for editing and assembling shots in film and television,and it is also an important artistic thinking.Its artistic thinking refers to a kind of thinking activity adopted by film artists to shape the image of the screen,observe,analyze,summarize real life and make artistic conceptions.Poetry is a work formed by the poet selecting,arranging,and processing objective things based on the needs of emotional expression,and through artistic conception and processing.It can be seen that montage and poetry creation have similar artistic thinking.Poetry and montage show the freedom of time and space they share,both breaking the incoherent splicing and combination of the program,and seeking to find the same nature of emotions from different attributes.The author believes that the commonality of artistic thinking between the two makes it possible to apply montage in poetry classrooms.Therefore,this article finds the connection between the two by explaining the concept of montage and creating utility.By investigating and analyzing the current status of poetry teaching,the linkage value of montage and poetry is comprehensively analyzed to clarify the feasibility of their application.Based on the feasibility of the application of the two,this paper proposes that the use of montage in junior high school poetry classroom should follow the three principles of holistic,fit and imagination,and propose application steps from the three links of teaching preparation,implementation and expansion.According to the proposed application principles and steps,the author selects two types of poems for teaching practice.This teaching practice preliminarily proves the applicability of montage in the poetry appreciation classroom of junior high school,improves students’ enthusiasm for learning poetry,activates classroom teaching,and provides teachers and students with a diversified idea of poetry appreciation.
