| In the process of rapid urbanization and modernization in China, the large flow of in-migrants has promoted the transformation of the city’s industries and the restructuring of space, and people have become important engines of regional development. The county is the basic unit of new-type urbanization, and the essence of modernization is the modernization of people. In the context of new-type urbanization, paying attention to the spatial differentiation and work-living relationship of in-migrants in the county is helpful in promoting social integration and fairness, thus promoting "people-oriented" urban development and governance. As a long-standing topic in urban research, much of the existing research on residential space and the relationship between residence and employment focuses on large cities or urban agglomerations, with relatively few studies conducted at smaller scales, such as the county level.Additionally, research data often relies on population censuses or sampling surveys, which have certain limitations. This study primarily uses mobile signaling big data, supplemented by urban POI data, urban road and vegetation coverage data, and other multi-source data.By using commonly used indicators and methods such as Global Moran’s I,Location Quotient,Spatial Mismatch Index, and Residence-employment Deviation Index,we explored the spatial differentiation and the characteristics of the residence-employment relationship of the migrant population in Longgang,Wenzhou. At the same time,we introduced mature models from related disciplines, constructed a Living Convenience Index, and expanded the research method based on accessibility,to compare and analyze the residence-employment relationship from different perspectives. Finally, using the Geo Detector model,we analyzed the driving forces and influencing factors, and obtained the following research conclusions:(1)There is a certain degree of agglomeration effect among the migrant population in Longgang City, and they are isolated from the local residents. There are also certain differences in the use of public facilities compared to the local residents.(2)The relationship between residence and employment of the migrant population in Longgang City differs from that of the local population, and the local population has better spatial overlap and job matching. However, the employment commuting accessibility of the migrant population is slightly better than that of the local population.(3)Convenience of daily life, transportation, housing prices, and environmental factors all have a significant impact on the agglomeration of the migrant population and the balance of residence and employment.Among them, communities with higher housing prices and better greenery are more attractive to the migrant population under the premise of convenient daily life, and are more likely to cause agglomeration of the migrant population.Communities with better living facilities and environment generally correspond to more job opportunities, leading to an imbalance between employment supply and residential population, and thus causing a mismatch between residence and employment.Based on the analysis of influencing factors, the following measures and policy recommendations are proposed to alleviate the situation:(1)Reasonably guide the allocation of public service resources to reduce social differentiation and promote social equity through spatial justice.(2)Improve housing policies and real estate market regulatory mechanisms.(3)Promote social integration according to local conditions, based on local characteristics, and emphasize overall planning. |
