| Student Readings on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era(High School)(hereinafter referred to as The Readings)is an important teaching material for high school students to learn Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and is an important carrier to promote the integrated construction of the ideological and political courses in universities and schools,which has an important nurturing value.Due to The Readings has been put into use for a relatively short period of time,and a suitable teaching method has not been explored yet.Many front-line teachers of ideological and political courses feel lost and confused about how to effectively carry out the teaching of The Readings,and students are not very motivated to learn The Readings.In the context of deeply promoting the socialist thoughts of Xi Jinping with Chinese characteristics in the new era into the teaching materials,into the classroom and into the mind,it is of certain practical significance to study the teaching method of The Readings.As a teaching method under constructivist learning theory,scaffolding teaching is based on students’ nearest development area,fully respects students’ subject status,actively builds teaching scaffolds for students,guides students to construct new knowledge in independent inquiry and group cooperative learning,and cultivates students’ problem-solving ability and independent learning ability.Scaffolded teaching emphasizes the independent,cooperative and inquiry learning style,which is in line with the teaching philosophy of high school ideology and politics class and meets the relevant requirements of the teaching of The Readings,and is conducive to mobilizing students’ enthusiasm and initiative in learning The Readings,cultivating students’ disciplinary core literacy and promoting the innovation of the teaching method of The Readings.Firstly,by reviewing the relevant literature and on the basis of sorting out and analyzing the existing research results,we give a brief overview of the relevant concepts,characteristics,implementation steps and theoretical foundations of scaffolding teaching,and explore the feasibility and basic requirements of scaffolding teaching applied in the teaching of The Readings with the content characteristics and teaching requirements of The Readings.Secondly,through questionnaire survey method,interview method,classroom observation method and other research methods,we understand the current situation of the teaching of The Readings,and find that there are mainly problems in the current teaching of The Readings,such as the lack of matching between the learning task and the learning situation,the lack of diversification in the construction of teaching scaffolds,and the neglect of the evaluation of the learning of The Readings,etc.We also analyze the reasons for the existing problems,and find that there are mainly three reasons: firstly,the students’ nearest development zone is difficult to grasp,secondly,the teachers’ understanding of teaching scaffolding is not comprehensive,and thirdly,The Readings lack relevant learning assessment criteria.Finally,combining the content characteristics of The Readings and based on the general requirements of high school ideology and politics classes,the strategies for the specific use of scaffolding teaching in the teaching of The Readings are proposed in five aspects: building scaffolds,creating contexts,independent exploration,collaborative learning,and learning evaluation,in order to improve the current situation of the teaching of The Readings and to provide reference and reference for the effective use of scaffolding teaching in the teaching of The Readings. |
