In 2017,the State Council issued the policy document "Development Plan for the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence",which was the first time that a national plan for the development of artificial intelligence was proposed.The "Development Plan for the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence" clearly states that artificial intelligence education should be carried out in primary and secondary schools.In April 2022,the Ministry of Education released the "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)",offering the "Information Technology" course in primary and secondary schools.It also clarified that the core competencies of information technology courses include information awareness,computational thinking,digital learning and innovation,and information social responsibility.Artificial intelligence has gradually attracted people’s attention,and many fields have collided with artificial intelligence.Contemporary society has become an intelligent society.In order to adapt to the development trend of the intelligent society,there is an urgent need for the cultivation of intelligent talents.Under the promotion of national and local policies,primary and secondary schools across the country have launched artificial intelligence education activities,and more and more schools have begun to attach importance to artificial intelligence education.Various schools have started to purchase artificial intelligence products,establish artificial intelligence studios,build intelligent teaching platforms,equip relevant artificial intelligence courses and supporting components,develop artificial intelligence school-based courses,and conduct practical teaching.Artificial intelligence education has shown a good development trend.However,at present,the education of artificial intelligence in primary schools varies from place to place.Although most schools have sufficient equipment,there are still many shortcomings in the arrangement of artificial intelligence teaching content,teaching modes,and other aspects.Schools should effectively carry out artificial intelligence teaching,so there is an urgent need for scientific guidance and exploration in theory and practice.In this context,this study first summarizes the research related to artificial intelligence education and situational teaching,and constructs a primary school artificial intelligence teaching and its effectiveness based on situational teaching mode.Secondly,by interviewing teachers and investigating students,we can understand the artificial intelligence education and teaching situation of the school and design teaching based on the actual situation.Finally,through three teaching practices.Conduct teaching reflection after each practice to achieve better teaching results.This study mainly includes the following contents:Firstly,research on the relevant theories of artificial intelligence education.By reviewing the literature on the implementation and research results of artificial intelligence education and situational teaching both domestically and internationally,we aim to understand the current research status and define relevant concepts of artificial intelligence education and situational teaching.Second,the survey of the current situation of artificial intelligence education in laboratory school.Using the case analysis method of qualitative research,the setting of artificial intelligence education in F School in G City was used as the research background.Thirty fifth grade students were selected as the research subjects.Afterwards,interviews and questionnaires were conducted with teachers and students of the school to understand the current situation of artificial intelligence education in the school,as well as students’ cognitive level and interest attitude towards artificial intelligence,Analyze and summarize various factors and conditions required for AI teaching in laboratory school.Thirdly,the construction of artificial intelligence teaching design based on situational teaching mode.Based on the preliminary investigation and analysis,this study constructs and designs the overall teaching plan from the perspectives of learner characteristics analysis,teaching objectives,teaching procedures,teaching content,and teaching evaluation.Fourthly,artificial intelligence teaching practice research is conducted to verify the feasibility of this teaching approach by conducting a series of practical teaching tests on the teaching effectiveness of teachers,students’ learning effectiveness,and the cultivation of students’ computational thinking.Fifth,summary and outlook.Based on the above research summary,summarize the research conclusions of this study and reflect on the shortcomings of the research.Through literature research,qualitative research,and summary and reflection on practical teaching,the author has determined the research approach,constructed and implemented an artificial intelligence teaching design scheme for the upper grades of primary school under the situational teaching mode,hoping to provide valuable guidance for the future artificial intelligence teaching practice for the upper grades of primary school.
