| With the development of information technology,artificial intelligence and other technologies,artificial intelligence literacy is a necessary literacy for future citizens.Based on the AI virtual programming platform,a middle school IT large-unit teaching task was carried out,which can promote students’ understanding of AI and programming creator education,stimulate students’ interest in conducting AI modules as well as programming learning,guide students to develop problem-solving skills,and improve and enhance students’ AI literacy.This study investigates the AI education policy,AI education content and teaching status through literature research method,and combines the curriculum standards of middle school IT curriculum with the development of AI teaching,takes the concept of large unit teaching design,uses 3D One AI virtual programming platform for AI teaching,integrates AI teaching and middle school IT curriculum,and builds middle school IT The design model of AI teaching in junior high school IT curriculum.On the basis of theoretical research,three middle school AI unit project-based teaching design programs were designed around AI project experience,technology exploration and AI application,including "controlling traffic lights","garbage sorting" and "wise eyes".We used questionnaires and interviews to analyze the effects of the teaching design on students’ graphical programming foundation,artificial intelligence learning,computational thinking,learning interest and attitude.The main purpose of this study is to construct an AI teaching design model for junior high school IT courses with the goal of promoting the development of students’ computational thinking skills,and to discuss the large unit teaching objectives,project-based teaching strategies and contents,and teaching evaluation design principles of the model.In addition,under the guidance of this teaching design model,the project design of AI teaching unit using 3D One AI is studied,and the teaching practice test is launched,in order to provide a referenceable case for AI teaching in junior high school IT courses.Innovation points:1.This study designs a large unit teaching task of artificial intelligence for junior high school based on a virtual simulation platform;2.This course is designed based on the theory of project-based learning,and applies the new curriculum concept of large-unit design to design a large-unit teaching program of "Controlling Traffic Lights","Sorting Garbage" and "Wise Eyes" around the theme of artificial intelligence projects;3.To explore artificial intelligence simulation teaching in junior high school IT courses by using virtual simulation software 3D One AI,to realize an effective combination of traditional programming education and AI education. |
