By relocating poverty alleviation through relocation, not only can the population burden in poverty-stricken areas be effectively reduced, but also strong support can be provided for local ecological environment restoration and sustainable development, thereby completely changing the living conditions of residents in poverty-stricken areas and enabling them to more independently obtain more economic sources and job opportunities. With the continuous improvement of economic level, the focus of poverty alleviation work has shifted from the current poverty alleviation campaign to the subsequent life support work, and the construction and development of relocation and resettlement communities for poverty alleviation in different locations are even more crucial. As the core force of the relocated community, although the poverty problem can be solved economically with the help of relevant national policies, the relocated residents still fail to realize the change of self cognition psychologically with the change of the living field environment, the community awareness of the relocated residents is still weak, and their concern for community affairs is not enough, which leads to the lack of centripetal force force and endogenous power of community construction. The author conducted on-site investigation and research on the residents of Xinkang Village,a poverty alleviation and resettlement community in Zhouqu,Lanzhou New Area, and found that they have some problems in community awareness and cultivation, such as low community awareness, lack of attention and concern for community affairs, and indifferent interpersonal relationships among neighbors. This study used interview and participatory observation methods to explore the causes of these problems, aiming to explore the problems in the development of resettlement communities for poverty alleviation in remote areas, including objective factors such as insufficient residents’ own abilities, difficulty in quickly changing traditional ideas, lack of community interaction platforms, insufficient community cultural construction, and inadequate community management systems. In order to better address these issues, combined with community development theory and advantage perspective theory, design a group work intervention plan, and conduct 6 group service activities, and finally conduct a professional evaluation.By organizing group activities,we hope to stimulate residents’ attention to the community from the perspective of cultivating community awareness, thereby helping relocated residents to better integrate into community life, strengthen interaction and communication between neighbors, promote mutual respect and tolerance, and achieve better development.Ultimately, through the collaborative governance of "resident participation, community support, and social work assistance",existing resources can be effectively integrated from the perspective of social work, thereby improving residents’ quality of life and sense of gain, and helping the community continue to develop for the better.Through this study,it is hoped that the community awareness, sense of gain, and sense of belonging of relocated residents in poverty alleviation can be improved, and professional group work practical experience can be provided for reference,in order to better implement the policy of "moving out, stabilizing, and integrating",and make positive contributions to community construction and development.
