With the rapid development of China’s social economy and the rapid improvement of people’s living standards,children’s usual pocket money also increases.Children will not manage,improper use of pocket money problems also emerge in endlessly,many parents do not pay attention to and timely education correction.Money management ability is an important part of financial business ability,compared with the highly developed market economy countries,money management education for children in our country has not been enough attention.A considerable number of parents and schools focus on the primary education to cope with the examination of the basic knowledge of culture,money management education awareness is seriously lacking.Having the basic ability of money management is one of the basic qualities that people should have in modern society.It should be paid attention to and become an important part of children’s quality education.Under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and Social cognitive theory,this study takes the "Little Buffett Project" group money management education activity as an example to try to use group work methods to help children improve their money management ability.The article uses interview methods,participatory observation methods,and questionnaire surveys to collect first-hand information about the research subjects.Based on the collected data,the current situation of money management among M elementary school students was first analyzed.Secondly,based on establishing its demand for money management education,design a feasible and effective money management education group activity service plan,and make corresponding adjustments to the service plan according to the actual situation.Finally,a summary of this study is made,reflecting on the existing shortcomings and proposing preliminary countermeasures and suggestions.The conclusions drawn from this study have three aspects.Firstly,the group work method has a good applicability to children’s education;Secondly,the "Little Buffett Project" significantly improved children’s money management abilities;Thirdly,cognitive behavior theory has guiding significance for children’s irrational cognition in group activities.There are three shortcomings in this study.Firstly,parents’ insufficient support for money management education;The second is that social workers have a single form of education on children’s money management;Thirdly,the effectiveness of group activities needs to be further consolidated.Three countermeasures and suggestions were also proposed to address the lack of research.Firstly,social workers should invite parents to participate in the entire process of the activity to enhance their support;Secondly,social workers should enrich the forms of money management education for children;The third is to link resources and build a sustainable social support network.Looking forward to further follow-up and in-depth discussions in the future. |
