In the context of the new round of basic education curriculum reform,school aesthetic education has been continuously strengthened,and the special function of the Chinese language discipline in promoting students’ aesthetic development has also been further emphasized.The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" proposes a core quality of Chinese curriculum that includes the key connotation of "aesthetic creation",further strengthening the important position of Chinese aesthetic education.Modern and contemporary prose is one of the styles that best reflect the humanity of Chinese,and has prominent aesthetic value in Chinese teaching.However,due to the deviation of interpretation concepts and the neglect of the aesthetic characteristics of prose,there are still certain problems in the current aesthetic education of modern and contemporary prose.Therefore,based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards and the departmental version of textbooks,combined with the current teaching and research situation of contemporary aesthetic education,this thesis examines the aesthetic education issues of the departmental version of junior high school Chinese contemporary prose textbooks,and explores effective strategies.The research mainly consists of six parts: The first chapter introduction.This thesis mainly includes the research origin,research review,research significance,research methods,and innovative points,aiming to clarify the research direction and content.The second chapter,the goal of modern and contemporary prose aesthetic education under the new curriculum standard.The goals of contemporary prose aesthetic education under the new curriculum standards.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards for aesthetic education,combined with the concept of genre and aesthetic characteristics of prose,the aesthetic education goals of literary prose and applied prose under the new curriculum standards are established.Chapter three,the selection and compilation of modern and contemporary prose in Chinese Textbooks(Ministry Edition)for Junior Middle Schools.Sort out the selection and arrangement characteristics of literary prose and applied prose,and explore the aesthetic education tendency in textbook selection.Chapter four,analysis of the current situation and problems for contemporary prose aesthetic education.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey,classify and organize the data,and then summarize and analyze the issues of contemporary prose aesthetic education from the perspectives of students and teachers.Chapter five and six,based on the literary prose and applied prose in the Chinese Textbooks(Ministry Edition)for Junior Middle Schools,propose strategies for literary prose aesthetic education and strategies for applying prose aesthetic education in combination with classroom observation results and teaching cases of frontline teachers,aiming to provide certain guiding suggestions for the implementation of contemporary prose aesthetic education,Thus improving the quality of contemporary prose teaching and effectively enhancing students’ aesthetic ability and core literacy.
