Information science and technology is an important part of the field of modern science and technology, which mainly studies the scientific principles, thinking methods, processing process and engineering realization of information expressed in digital form and its application. The course of information technology in compulsory education aims to cultivate teenagers’ adaptability, competence and creativity to the information age,and to improve digital literacy and skills. As an important learning way to cultivate students’ high-level thinking ability, deep learning is a way of learning that students devote themselves to learning and carry out purposeful learning under the guidance of teachers.and then improve their own understanding of knowledge and innovative application of a way of learning.Based on the cultivation of core literacy, this study puts forward teaching strategies to promote in-depth learning of information technology in primary schools and verifies its effectiveness. The research is first based on literature analysis of the concepts and theoretical foundations of core competencies and deep learning; On this basis,a survey questionnaire and an interview outline were developed to understand the current situation of deep learning in primary school information technology classrooms through survey questionnaires and teacher-student interviews.Research has found that in primary school information technology classrooms, students have weak awareness of deep learning;Students lack the ability to construct and transfer knowledge;Students lack the ability to apply metacognitive strategies and solve problems;Students’ critical thinking and creative thinking need to be improved; The professionalization level of teachers needs to be improved;Teacher instructional design cannot achieve deep learning; The teacher’s teaching evaluation method is unreasonable and other issues.Relying on constructivism theory, situational cognition theory, distributed cognition theory and metacognition theory, this paper analyzes the causes of the above problems and proposes teaching strategies to promote in-depth learning: recognize the importance of information technology and learning methods;Strengthening the connection between new and old knowledge and interdisciplinary thinking; The project teaching method cultivates students’ high-order thinking ability;Encourage students to bravely ask questions and creatively think about them;Improve teachers’ professional teaching ability and collaborative education ability;Optimize information technology teaching design;Optimize teaching evaluation methods. Finally, three rounds of action research were carried out to test the effectiveness of teaching strategies. In each round of action research, students’ self-evaluation and mutual evaluation are used to comprehensively evaluate students’ in-depth learning performance in combination with the author’s classroom observation and analysis,so as to find problems in action research in a timely manner and optimize teaching strategies. After three rounds of action research, the questionnaire was distributed as a post test and compared with the pre-test data.Combined with classroom observation analysis in action and student selfevaluation and mutual evaluation, the application effect of teaching strategies was evaluated. The data results show that the teaching strategies proposed in the study to promote deep learning of information technology in primary schools are effective. The application of this strategy in information technology classrooms can significantly promote students’ learning performance in six dimensions of deep learning.Improve students’ learning motivation, enhance their knowledge construction and transfer ability, metacognitive strategy application ability, cooperative communication ability, problem solving ability, critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability, and then improve students’ core quality.
