| Ancient poetry and prose are the essence of traditional Chinese culture.Middle school Chinese textbooks have compiled a large number of ancient poetry and prose.Learning these ancient poetry and prose will cultivate students’ ideological,emotional,and aesthetic literacy,while enriching their understanding of Chinese classical culture and enriching their language and vocabulary foundation.Middle school is in a transitional teaching stage,which is an important period for learning ancient poetry and literature.Compared to urban junior high schools,township junior high schools have limitations in teaching resources and methods.Focusing on the teaching situation of ancient poetry and literature in township junior high schools,summarizing the problems in teaching,and proposing teaching optimization strategies can provide reference and methods for the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry and literature in township junior high schools,and improve teaching effectiveness.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part provides an overview of the research on the teaching of ancient poetry and prose,explains the research content and methods,and determines the overall framework of the research.The second part is a conceptual overview and theoretical basis.Introduce the concepts of ancient poetry and prose in the research,as well as the concepts of ancient poetry and prose in junior high school Chinese,and describe the constructivist theory,situational cognition and learning theory,and Dewey’s modern teaching theory involved in the research.The third part discusses the differences between township junior high schools and urban junior high schools.Discuss the differences between township junior high schools and urban junior high schools from the perspectives of school conditions,teachers,and students.Clearly,compared to urban junior high schools,township junior high schools have relatively backward school culture and facilities,resulting in the loss and shortage of excellent teachers,poor student foundation,loss of excellent students,and frequent dropouts.These factors have led to a poor overall learning atmosphere in rural junior high schools.The fourth part,the township junior high school Chinese ancient poetry teaching status and existing problems analysis.After clarifying the overall teaching environment of township junior middle schools,the first junior middle school of Xiaoyi Town in Linwei District was taken as a case to investigate the teaching situation and problems of Chinese ancient poetry and prose.The survey found that the teaching situation of ancient poetry in Xiaoyi No.1 Middle School is mainly characterized by backward teaching ideas,neglected interest stimulation,traditional teaching methods,dull classroom atmosphere,backward teaching resources and limited students’ thinking.The research analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of ancient poetry in township junior middle schools from the teaching environment,teachers and students,and finds that from the perspective of environment,the poor teaching environment affects the teaching of ancient poetry.From the level of teachers,there are mainly problems such as teachers neglecting the connotation of ancient poetry under the guidance of exam-oriented education,excessive explanation and neglecting the exploration of ancient poetry,the lack of emotional education and the lack of learning quality.In terms of students,there are mainly problems such as a single purpose of learning,lack of interest,fear of difficulties,narrow knowledge,difficulty in understanding ancient poems and prose,lack of experience,less resonance and so on.The fifth part is about strategies for improving the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry and literature in rural junior high schools.Based on the specific problems and reasons of the teaching environment and ancient poetry teaching in rural junior high schools,this study proposes improvement strategies for the teaching of Chinese ancient poetry and literature in rural junior high schools.From the perspectives of the government and schools,we should optimize the teaching environment of ancient poetry and literature,improve the facilities and social environment,and support the development of ancient poetry and literature teaching.From the perspective of teachers,we should reduce utilitarian pursuits and guide the understanding of the connotations of ancient poetry and literature;Pay attention to innovative teaching forms of ancient poetry and prose,and leverage the value of independent inquiry learning;We should enhance recitation to enable students to fully understand the emotional connotations in ancient poetry and prose;We should strengthen our own learning and improve our literary literacy.From the perspective of students,the first step is to expand their thinking and try to remember and understand;Secondly,we should cultivate interest and experience the charm of ancient poetry and literature;Once again,we should focus on accumulation and learn how to transfer knowledge;Finally,the senses should be mobilized to enhance the emotional experience. |
