Traditional festival culture is an important component of China’s excellent traditional culture,and it is the common thought and belief precipitated by the Chinese nation.In recent years,under the influence of economic globalization and multiculturalism,China’s traditional festival culture has been impacted by Western festival culture.The Guiding Outline for Improving the Education of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture issued by the Ministry of Education in 2014 emphasizes the importance and urgency of strengthening the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum is not only conducive to inheriting excellent national traditional culture,but also conducive to cultivating children’s sense of national identity and pride.This study starts with a theoretical analysis of the integration of traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum,examines the current situation of the integration of traditional festivals in S Kindergarten through practice,analyzes the reasons and puts forward relevant suggestions,with a view to providing theoretical and practical reference for the research on the integration of traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum.In terms of theory,this study combed relevant literature and defined the concepts of traditional festival culture,kindergarten curriculum,and integration;Analyze the possibility and necessity of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum;Explain the theoretical basis for integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum;The basic requirements for integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum are analyzed from five aspects: resource mining,goal setting,content selection,organization,implementation,and evaluation.In terms of practice,this study takes S Kindergarten in Zhanjiang City as the research object,and uses interview,observation,text analysis,case analysis,and physical analysis methods to investigate the positive aspects,existing problems,and reasons for the integration of traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum in S Kindergarten.Among them,there are positive aspects: emphasizing the excavation of traditional festival material and cultural resources,emphasizing the excavation of traditional festival spiritual and cultural resources,emphasizing the excavation of traditional festival behavioral and cultural resources,emphasizing the hierarchy of goal setting,the overall selection of content,the diversity of implementation methods,the timeliness of implementation activities,the extension of implementation sites,and the diversification of evaluation subjects.The existing problems include insufficient completeness of goal setting,insufficient suitability of content selection,insufficient continuity of content organization,lack of integration of content organization,insufficient richness of implementation materials,insufficient cooperation among implementation personnel,lack of comprehensiveness of evaluation content,and insufficient diversity of evaluation methods.The reasons for the problems include: insufficient understanding of the connotation and value of traditional festival culture among teachers,weak awareness of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum among teachers,insufficient ability of teachers to integrate traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum,and limited regular training for integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum.According to the problems and causes of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum,the researchers put forward suggestions for optimization in four aspects.One is to improve teachers’ cognition of the cultural connotation and educational value of traditional festivals;The second is to enhance teachers’ consciousness of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum;Third,improve teachers’ ability to design activities,organize and implement activities and reflect on the integration of traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum.Fourthly,we should improve the supporting conditions of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum.We should pay attention to the construction of traditional festival culture resource bank and strengthen the training of teachers integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum.Finally,based on the research conclusions,the paper analyzes "a case design example of integrating traditional festival culture into kindergarten curriculum theme activities-taking the Spring Festival culture as an example." This theme activity example illustrates the resource analysis of Spring Festival culture,the goal design of integrating Spring Festival culture into kindergarten curriculum,the selection,organization,implementation,and evaluation of theme activity content.Finally,a case study is conducted from five aspects:resource mining,goal design,content selection,organization,implementation,and evaluation. |
