"Practice of Scenic Tour Guide" is a core professional course of tourism service and management major of secondary vocational school.It aims to cultivate the scenic tour guide service ability of secondary vocational school students.It has strong practicality and practicability and plays a leading role in the future employment of secondary vocational students.Along with the continuous development of tourism,the demand of applied and skilled talents will gradually increase.As the base for training tourism talents,secondary vocational schools need to carry out teaching reform in accordance with the national vocational education policy and the development of tourism industry in time.As a teaching mode of vocational education reform,project-based teaching method can fully meet the needs of curriculum teaching and talent training by selecting work items to create scenes and carrying out teaching in the way of collaborative learning to a certain extent.Good project design can promote the mastery of students’ knowledge and skills as well as the improvement of vocational ability.In order to improve the teaching effect of the course "Practice of Scenic Tour Guide" in secondary vocational schools,and to improve the matching degree between the training of tourism service and management professionals and the requirements of vocational positions,this paper tries to design and carry out the project teaching process with students as the main body,projects as the main line,group discussion as the main form and multiple indicators as the evaluation method on the basis of the theory of project teaching.The specific research process of this paper is as follows: the first part is the introduction.This paper mainly expounds the research background,research purpose and research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and research ideas.The second part is the core concept definition and theoretical basis analysis.It mainly defines the concepts of project teaching,project teaching method,"Practice of Scenic Tour Guide",defines the implementation process of project teaching,and analyzes the theoretical basis of the application of project teaching method to provide theoretical support for this study.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the teaching status of "Tourist Guide Practice" in secondary vocational schools.Firstly,questionnaire survey is conducted to analyze students’ cognition of course content,teaching process,learning method and project teaching.Secondly,interview teachers to analyze their arrangement of teaching content and teaching methods;Then,interviews are conducted on the management personnel of tourist attractions to analyze the position setting and employment needs of tourist attractions.The purpose is to analyze the causes of the teaching situation,and then obtain the corresponding teaching application strategies to provide practical basis for the research of this paper.The fourth part is the project teaching design of the course "Tourist Guide Practice" in secondary vocational schools.Make clear the design principles of project teaching method,and analyze the teaching object,teaching content,teaching objectives and teaching environment before class.According to the implementation process of project-based teaching method,the teaching evaluation method combining process evaluation and terminal evaluation should be constructed after class.The fifth part is the project teaching practice of Tourist Guide Practice in secondary vocational schools.Taking "River Tourism Landscape Explanation" as example,the teaching design is made and the specific teaching process of the project is carried out.Finally,the practical effect of the project teaching method is verified and its effectiveness is proved through evaluation results,interviews with teachers and students,and questionnaire survey.The sixth part is the summary and prospect.Through the teaching implementation and investigation and analysis,it is found that project-based teaching method is suitable for the teaching of Scenic Tour Guide Practice in secondary vocational schools.It can make up for the shortcomings of traditional classroom teaching and improve students’ learning interest,autonomous learning ability,knowledge and skill level to a certain extent.
