Poetry has had very obvious aesthetic characteristics since its birth.As an important component of poetry,modern and contemporary poetry has stylistic aesthetic values such as form beauty,language beauty,and artistic conception beauty.Teaching modern and contemporary poetry from an aesthetic perspective is a requirement of the new curriculum standards and the current teaching situation.Therefore,by sorting and analyzing the selection of modern and contemporary poetry in the current unified edition of high school Chinese language textbooks,as well as investigating and analyzing the current teaching situation of modern and contemporary poetry,a basic understanding of the textbook and teaching status is obtained,striving to propose feasible strategies for the teaching of modern and contemporary poetry.The paper consists of an introduction,a main body,and a conclusion.The introduction mainly explains the research background of this topic from the aesthetic value of high school Chinese modern and contemporary poetry,the requirements of curriculum standards for high school Chinese aesthetic teaching,and the current situation of high school Chinese modern and contemporary poetry aesthetic education.Based on this,the research significance is clarified,and relevant literature is presented from the perspectives of Chinese aesthetic education,high school Chinese modern and contemporary poetry teaching research Organize and review the research on the aesthetic education of modern and contemporary Chinese poetry in high school from three aspects,and confirm the research content and methods of this topic by summarizing and comparing relevant literature.The main body of the paper consists of four parts.The first part provides an overview of the theories related to high school Chinese modern and contemporary poetry.Firstly,it clarifies the definition of aesthetics,Chinese aesthetic teaching,and modern and contemporary poetry in the paper.Then,it elaborates on the theoretical basis of high school Chinese modern and contemporary poetry teaching from the perspective of aesthetics from three aspects: new curriculum standards,reception aesthetics theory,and learning psychology theory.The second part is mainly based on the analysis of the unified edition of high school Chinese language textbooks.It sorts out and analyzes the selection of modern and contemporary poetry in high school Chinese language textbooks.It uses a table to sort out the book,author,era,theme,etc.of the selection,and summarizes the characteristics of the selection: having contemporary characteristics,emphasizing the cultivation of aesthetic and cultural literacy,implementing poetry writing teaching,and obtaining the teaching value of modern and contemporary poetry in high school Chinese language,This includes four aspects: experiencing and learning the language and writing beauty of poetry,experiencing the rhythm and rhythm beauty of poetry,cultivating aesthetic concepts and abilities,and improving emotional attitudes and personality.The third part is based on internship experience,using the survey methods of interviews and questionnaires to investigate students and teachers separately.The survey results of students’ learning of modern and contemporary poetry are analyzed from the aspects of aesthetic cognition,recitation,and aesthetic experience.The interview with teachers is analyzed from three aspects: teaching methods,teaching processes,and teaching results.The survey conclusions are drawn from three aspects: emphasizing grades over interests,emphasizing exam taking over aesthetics,and emphasizing analysis over creation,providing a comprehensive foundation for research topics.The fourth part proposes strategies for the teaching of modern and contemporary Chinese poetry in high school from an aesthetic perspective based on the characteristics of the selected text and the survey conclusions.The strategies are as follows: integrating resources to strengthen the aesthetic education of modern and contemporary poetry;Create a context to enhance the aesthetic perception of modern and contemporary poetry;Read the text carefully to understand the aesthetic connotations of modern and contemporary poetry;Emphasize writing and achieve the aesthetic recreation of modern and contemporary poetry.The conclusion section of the paper provides a brief summary of this paper,emphasizing the important position of modern and contemporary poetry in high school Chinese language teaching,and calling for strengthened attention to the aesthetic teaching of modern and contemporary poetry in the process of high school Chinese language teaching,so that students can appreciate its stylistic beauty,be influenced by aesthetics,cultivate aesthetic ability,and finally point out the limitations of the paper.
