| The idea of chemical elements is an important part of the basic idea of chemistry,which involves rich connotations,helps students to understand the complicated material world in an orderly way,and promotes the development of the core quality of chemistry.Based on relevant literature,it is found that there are few studies on the evaluation of the idea of elements,and the development status of high school students’ idea of chemical elements is not clear.The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the development level of high school students’ idea of chemical elements,and provide specific suggestions for teachers’ teaching.The main research contents include:(1)The basic connotation of the idea of chemical elements is determined.On the basis of existing literature and combining with the content of middle school chemistry course,the connotation of chemical element idea is determined,and it is divided into three content dimensions: understanding of elements,looking at substances from the point of idea of elements and looking at chemical reactions from the point of idea of elements.(2)Construct the evaluation criterion of the development level of high school students’ idea of chemical elements.According to the Chemquery evaluation system,four levels of the development of chemical element idea are determined,and the specific behavior descriptions corresponding to different levels are determined according to the specific contents of the three content dimensions.(3)Developed a chemical element observation and evaluation tool for senior high school students.According to the assessment criterion,test papers are compiled for high school students to test,according to the Rasch model tool quality test results were revised and optimized,after the completion of modification,the second round of tests,data processing results show that the assessment tool has good reliability and validity.(4)revealed the development status of high school students’ idea of chemical elements.The test results show that the overall development level of high school students’ idea of chemical elements is mostly concentrated in level 2 and level 3,and a few students can reach level 4.The development level of students in the three content dimensions of the idea of chemical elements is not balanced,and their understanding of the element content dimension is low.According to the evaluation results,the following teaching suggestions are put forward:Guide the teaching of specific knowledge with the element idea;Strengthen the knowledge learning of element compounds and lay the foundation for the construction of element view;Improve the understanding of the periodic law of elements and build a systematic knowledge system;Implement the integration of "teaching,learning and evaluation" to clarify the current situation of the construction of the students’ element idea. |
