The 2017 edition of the curriculum standard provides five dimensions of the core accomplishment of chemistry discipline,among which there are few relevant researches on the level assessment of "change concept and balance thought",and there is no report on the assessment research of "change concept and balance thought" for students from ethnic minority areas.The main purpose of this study is to take the "principle of chemical reaction" as an example,and according to the level division of chemistry discipline ability by Professor Wang Lei from Beijing Normal University,the evaluation index system of "change concept and balance thought" is put forward,which consists of three first-level dimensions and nine second-level dimensions.According to this index system,a test tool(paper)consisting of 24 items was developed,which was verified by the Rasch model in terms of the reliability,separation and one-dimension of both items and subjects,and had certain reliability and validity.And Win Step software is used to calculate the average difficulty of each item in the test tool,and the average value is used as the basis to judge the students' literacy level of "changing concept and balancing thought".When students' ability value was lower than-0.95,students' literacy level of "idea of change and balanced thinking" was considered to be lower than level 1(learning and understanding).When students' ability is between-0.95 and 0.09,they are at level 1(learning and understanding).When the student's ability value is between 0.09 and 0.85,it is at level2(applied practice).When the student's ability value is greater than 0.85,it is at level3(transfer innovation).This study adopts cluster sampling method to select two classes of ethnic senior high school and senior high school,with 40 students in each class,a total of 160 students,to test the literacy level of "concept of change and balance thought" of students from different schools,different classes and different genders.First,the average overall ability of the tested students is 0.0566,which is at the level of "learning and understanding".The development level of students' literacy mainly focuses on the level of "application practice",and 15.00% of the students' literacy level is lower than the level of "learning understanding".Second,the comparative results of the development of students' literacy level in different schools: the average ability of ethnic high school students is-0.0531,at the level of "learning and understanding",and the development level of students' literacy mainly focuses on the level of "learning and understanding" and "application and practice".The average ability of ordinary high school students is 0.1664,at the level of "applied practice",and the development level of students' literacy is concentrated at the level of "applied practice".The independent sample t-test of the students' abilities in the two schools shows that there are significant differences in the development of the "idea of change and thought of balance" among students at different school levels.Thirdly,the comparison results of the development of students' literacy level in different classes showed that the average ability of students in ordinary classes of high school for ethnic minorities(-0.2940)was less than that of students in key classes(0.1877).The average ability of students in ordinary classes(-0.0498)is lower than that of students in key classes(0.3825).The results show that there are significant differences in the development of "concept of change and balanced thought" of students in different classes.Fourthly,the comparison results of the development of literacy level of students of different genders showed that the average ability of female students(0.0809)was higher than that of male students(0.0592).At 0.05 confidence level,the independent sample t-test results show that there is no significant difference in the development of literacy level between boys and girls.The innovation of this study is based on Rasch model establishment of the ideas of "change and balance" testing tool for measurement of the level of literacy of high school students in ethnic minority areas,test results can help teachers to learn the local high school students in national regions literacy status quo,and thus improve teaching,and improve the core level of chemistry literacy of senior high school students in ethnic areas.It is the basis of the method for constructing the core literacy evaluation system of Chemistry for senior high school students.
