With the accelerating development process of globalization and integration of the world economy,innovation ability has become the core element affecting national competitiveness.The root of innovative ability lies in innovative talents,therefore,the cultivation of innovative talents has become the focus of education and teaching reform in the world.According to existing research,problem-solving teaching is effective in promoting students’ knowledge acquisition,thinking development and higher-order abilities such as problem solving,and plays an important role in the cultivation of students’ innovative abilities.However,in practice,problem-solving teaching has many problems such as too much predetermined,difficult to measure students’ ability and lack of effective evaluation.With the advent of the digital age,the use of digital technology to establish the connection between learning data and students’ learning status and to carry out data-driven teaching and learning reform practices provide new ideas to optimize problem-solving teaching.Based on this,this study aims to conduct research on the design and application of data-driven problem-solving teaching activities,to fully exploit the value of data to optimize the implementation effect of problem-solving teaching activities,and to help cultivate innovative talents.This study firstly,through the literature research method,compares the relevant domestic and international research on data-driven and problem-solving teaching,clarifies the core concepts of data-driven,problem-solving,and problem-solving teaching,further focuses the research questions,and clarifies the research content.Secondly,using the questionnaire survey method,we investigate the current situation around teachers’ data-driven and problem-solving teaching,and design the questionnaire of "Survey on the Current Situation and Needs of DataDriven and Problem-Solving Teaching" based on the framework of teachers’ core skills of data literacy and problem-solving teaching process,and sort out the main problems in current datadriven and problem-solving teaching based on the survey results,and give corresponding The questionnaire was designed to identify the main problems of data-driven and problem-solving teaching and to provide corresponding countermeasures.Again,we summarize and draw on existing data-driven and problem-solving teaching models,propose the principles of constructing a data-driven problem-solving teaching activity model,and initially build a data-driven problemsolving teaching activity model.Finally,based on the ADDIE instructional design model,the teaching case was designed in five stages: analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation,using the section of "algorithm optimization" in junior high school IT course as the teaching content.In order to test the effectiveness of the activity model,this study conducted three rounds of action research using the teaching case of "algorithm optimization",understood the problems in the action research through the interview method,revised and improved the activity model,and finally built a data-driven problem-solving teaching activity model.Through the above research,this study draws the following three research conclusions.First,the questionnaire "Survey on the Current Situation and Needs of Data-Driven and ProblemSolving Teaching" developed in this study can effectively understand the current use of teachers’ teaching data in the actual teaching process and the problems and realistic needs in carrying out problem-solving teaching.Secondly,we designed and constructed a data-driven problem-solving teaching activity model that includes three stages: before,during and after class,problem inquiry,collaboration and mutual assistance,presentation and communication,solution optimization,conclusion and conclusion,and advancement,and optimized the model through action research method.Third,the model was designed and applied to teaching practice.Through three rounds of action research,it was found that the data-driven problem-solving teaching activity model constructed in this study can support teachers’ precise teaching and students’ personalized learning,and promote the improvement of students’ learning performance.
