Research purpose: In recent years,significant achievements have been made in the study of mindfulness,which has been widely applied in clinical medicine,sports,and other fields.However,its application in table tennis teaching is still relatively limited.On the basis of summarizing previous literature,this article aims to explore the intervention effect of mindfulness training on college students’ mindfulness level,attention performance,and table tennis skills through an 8-week teaching experiment,and to explore the feasibility of mindfulness training in college table tennis teaching classroom practice.Research methods: The main methods used include literature review,questionnaire survey,experiment,mathematical statistics,etc.Research subjects: Two classes of social sports majors from the School of Physical Education and Health Sciences of Mudanjiang Normal University in 2021 were selected,with Class 1 of Social Sports as the experimental group and Class 3 of Social Sports as the control group.Fifty students from both classes were given mindfulness training for 8 weeks.Main research findings:(1)Through mindfulness training,the level of mindfulness can be improved to a certain extent.Before the experiment,according to the results,there was no significant difference in the level of mindfulness between the two groups of students,and their performance was homogeneous.After the experiment,compared to the level of mindfulness before the intervention measures were taken(M=3.015),the level of mindfulness was improved to a certain extent through intervention(M=3.140).(2)The difference in performance between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment is mainly reflected in the reaction time(P<0.05),and the reaction time of the experimental group is significantly shortened compared to the control group after the experiment.After the experiment,the reaction time of the experimental group was 877.870 s,while the reaction time of the control group was 1007.324 s.The reaction time of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group.(3)After the experiment,the table tennis skill scores of the experimental group and the control group were significantly improved.There was a significant difference in the skill scores of the two groups of students(front and back hand fixed click ball,front and back hand flat serve)before and after the experiment,and there was a significant difference in the operational performance between the two groups.(4)Mindfulness training has rich methods and content,diverse forms of practice,and is easy to combine with course teaching to improve the learning effect of table tennis skills.Conclusion:(1)the students can promote the improvement of their mindfulness level after receiving the mindfulness training.(2)Mindfulness training can improve the attention performance of college students.(3)Mindfulness training can improve table tennis skills by improving the forehand fixed point shot,backhand fixed point shot,forehand flat serve and backhand flat serve skills.Research suggestions:(1)for students,it is recommended to apply mindfulness training to their daily life,so as to internalize it into a part of themselves.(2)For teachers,it is suggested to study actively,constantly enhance their theoretical foundation,and carry out many teaching practices.(3)Combine the content of mindfulness training into the table tennis class,update the educational concept,and improve the attractiveness of classroom teaching.
