The Curriculum structure has been optimized in the General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,Revised 2020)by incorporating school-based courses into the elective curriculum,among which "First Aid measures" is one of the optional modules.Schools have the right to develop school-based courses,and school teachers can design and practice school-based courses as builders and implementers.The concept of "school-based" and "student-oriented" runs through the entire process of curriculum development.This thesis aims to develop a school-based course of "first aid measures" that reflects the characteristics of the school and is close to students’ life,so that students can use specific first aid methods to deal with emergency injuries in daily life.This thesis adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,educational experiment,observation,and interview to develop and practice the school-based curriculum of "First Aid Measures" in M Middle School in Dongying City.Firstly,this thesis studies and analyzes the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of the school-based curriculum "First Aid Measures",and determines the curriculum development model;Secondly,the thesis analyzes the environment of M Middle School in Dongying City,and investigates the students in four classes of Grade one in the form of questionnaire,mastering the students’ interests,existing cognitive basis,expected course content,course evaluation methods,etc.Then,based on the above research,from the aspects of curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum evaluation,and so on,five topics of "Introduction","Basic first aid","First Aid for Common family emergencies","First aid for Common school emergencies",and "First aid for Common outdoor accidents" are established.Finally,the implementation process of part of the curriculum content is completed through specific cases,and the evaluation of the curriculum itself,the implementation process of the curriculum and students’ studies is completed by using the evaluation scale,pen and paper test and interview method.From the course evaluation results,the school-based course of "First Aid Measures" shows the school-running characteristics of Dongying M Middle School;In the course of course development,the author has improved his professional level from concept,knowledge and ability.Through the study of this course,the students have increased the knowledge reserve of first aid,established the concept of life that the structure and function of organisms are adapted to each other,stable and balanced,cultivated the ability of scientific thinking in the simulation of first aid scene,cultivated the ability of cooperation and practical ability in group cooperation exercises,and enhanced the awareness of first aid and established the sense of social responsibility in the whole class.
