With the increasing diversification of people’s tourism needs,the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry have put forward higher requirements for talent cultivation.Vocational education,as an important position for cultivating tourism industry talents,shoulders the responsibility of delivering high-quality and skilled talents for the tourism industry.At present,the teaching method of tourism majors in vocational schools still adopts traditional indoctrination teaching.Students lack learning initiative,lack proficiency in professional knowledge and skills,and cannot meet the talent requirements for the growth of tourism enterprises.In this context,the main goal of this paper is to improve the ability to act.On the premise of understanding the characteristics of students,this paper carries out teaching design and practical research,attaches importance to the introduction of Case method,cultivates students’ innovative thinking,and improves students’ practical ability.This study selected J Vocational School in Shandong Province,with sophomore students studying the course "Room Service and Management" as the research object.The teaching design research was conducted using methods such as literature research,interviews,questionnaire surveys,and experimental control.Firstly,by reviewing relevant literature at home and abroad,clarify the concepts,research status,and research hotspots of action orientation,and determine the main research content based on the characteristics of secondary vocational education;Secondly,the feasibility of implementing action oriented teaching design for the course "Room Service and Management" was analyzed.A questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted to understand the current teaching situation of Vocational School.It was found that there are problems in teaching,such as low student interest in learning,limited teacher-student classroom interaction,lack of proficiency in professional skills,and single evaluation methods.Based on practical observations,the application advantages of action oriented teaching design were pointed out;Once again,based on the basis and principles of action oriented teaching design,combined with the teaching content and learning characteristics of vocational school students,according to the learning action paradigm,reconstruct the teaching process and optimize the teaching design of the curriculum;Finally,taking "cleaning and walking the guest room" as a case for teaching design practice,combined with independent sample T-test analysis of students’ grades,it was found that the implementation of action oriented teaching design can significantly enhance students’ learning interest and enthusiasm,and the teaching effect is better.After optimizing the classroom teaching design,teachers showed better teaching enthusiasm and enthusiasm,and students had a more solid grasp of theoretical knowledge and room service skills.This article demonstrates through research that action oriented teaching design can to some extent improve the current situation of vocational school curriculum teaching.Driven by typical work tasks,teaching process optimization design is carried out based on teaching content and skills and action abilities required for vocational positions.This conforms to the characteristics of current vocational school tourism teaching,fully realizes communication and interaction between teachers and students,enhances students’ professional learning enthusiasm,and improves the quality of classroom teaching,Realize close connection between teaching content and practical links. |
